I accept it, Rory. I'm you. I've always wanted to reject you, but that doesn't matter now. I'm just gonna watch you. Even if you make a 3 hour long video, I'll watch you. Change your pfp, change your channel name. I'll watch you again. Because where you go I go, what you see I see

Yuji is the first MC in a long time that I really loved. Watching him break down and get back up and seeing his resolve was an amazing experience.

Yuji is so strong, he can go on missions alone. But Gojo didn’t want his students to be isolated.

I know the ending was rushed, but I'm happy Yuji is able to just be happy now. That boy deserves after everything he's been through.

Yuji represents a lot of youth and is very relatable as a protagonist in my opinion. I like that as a shonen mc we get introduced to a character that hasn’t set any big goals in his life to fulfill. Which is like most of us. We have stuff that we want to accomplish but there are not a lot of people that actually say: I want to be the best ever in this particular thing. After getting a goal with Sukuna, he also quickly gets a big development in his goal and character when Yaga confronts him on his shallow mindset and goal that isn’t even really his own at that point. Now I read jjk by volumes and I’m only up to the start of the culling games but I can’t wait to see what’s left for Yuji. I also particularly liked his fight with Mahito(of course) and Higuruma. But he has a lot of other cool moments with the characters like Nobara after they killed the painting curse brothers.

This definitely makes me appreciate Yuji's character growth so much more

The moment that Yuji took time to think about whether or not he wanted to be a part of the story was what solidified him as a character I could get behind. He's also kind, weird, happy with who he is, and cares about people. He isn't always confident in his goals but he works for them anyway. I like Yuji.

I love this. Yuji's path of learning the meaning of life reflects Sukuna's inability to understand it. If Yuji and Sukuna traded paths, they would have the same results? as Yuji would grow up with some love and acceptance but Sukuna didn't since birth. I think Gege missed out on Sukuna vs. Yuji's births because Yuji's Dad wanted a son, and Kenjaku took those backshots (so they wanted Yuji, too). especially when you compare it to Sukuna, who was unwanted before he was even born. MAYBE Sukuna's existence could result in Itadori Clang getting wiped out (maybe they were holding onto fingers for protection but get blitzed by curses). MAYBE IT WOULD HAVE BEEN COOL PLOT POINT TO SEE VS EVERYTHING ELSE!!!! All I wanted was the saucy Yuji vs. Sukuna story compared to Yuji vs. Gojo (IMO, kinda meh). Anyway, it's a great video. Can't wait for the next one.

39:24 imo, it's important that Kenjaku is the one that killed Mahito. It reminds us that the malice of human that created Mahito is far more terrifying than him. The reason why Mahito is so evil and was born only recently is because internet is the perfect vessel to accumulate hatred between humans. Just as Mahito said "I kill without thinking", many actual human attack others on the internet without thinking. After all, Mahito IS the "mirror" of human and curse as Jogo said. However, kindness is just as unreasonable as hate, that's why Yuji, representation of the kindness of humanity, said "I am you." to Mahito.

(manga spoilers) I was so mad when reading how Gege handled the final fight against Sukuna that I actually overlooked the fact that he did answer the quesiton about the thesis of "proper death" at Yuji's domain; although the whole internet still baffled on what exactly did Yuji's domain expansion do, at the end the conversation between Yuji and Sukuna was the closing statement on what jjk was really about. Thank you for reminding me why I liked this series in the first place!

@@BallScrigglyBecause he’s the one who embodied Gojo’s ideal and dream. He never threw away his humanity in a gamble like Yuta did. He does not want to let anyone feel alone, which is exactly what Gojo wanted. At the end Yuji is taking the other two on a mission even though he’s stronger than the two of them put together so they don’t become isolated. He’s already walking a path Gojo wish he did.
