The more I see of Gok on Say Yes To The Dress, the more I am falling in love with his work in this role and I just even more convinced episode by episode that the only person I'd ever consider helping me pick/create a black wedding dress would be Gok! The bride in this episode was super stunning, as someone who also wants a dress of a controversial colour I'm so happy someone could represent, and for a stylist to do such an amazing job. This has got to be one of my favourite episodes, very well done!!

Indian brides also wear red lahengas and sarees on their wedding day... Red is the color of a married women according to Indian culture. We so also wear all type of colors other than red as well... Indian weddings are full of colors ❤️

Gok is always amazing. Always. I wish I had had a Gok when I got married. Instead, I had a consultant that wouldn't even help me in the dressing room. My sister had to help me get dressed, buttoned, etc. The consultant just hung around outside the dressing room like a lazy frump. She wasn't even actively bringing me dresses; I had to tell her when she needed to help me find something else, and even then, none of the dresses she brought me even remotely followed the desired characteristics I told her I was hoping for. I LITERALLY saw what the bride was wearing in the dressing room next to me and said, "I'd like to try on that one." That's how I found my wedding dress; I saw another woman trying it on. My consultant totally sucked. She didn't listen to what I wanted, and she hardly helped at all. I wish I had a Gok. I was very happy with the beautiful dress I found, but, man, if Gok had been there, I'm sure he would have turned it into the dress of my dreams.

Dress #3 is more of a "red carpet" than a wedding dress. I preferred the original #1 (pre-embellishment). With a headpiece (however small), some blingy jewelry (definitely not so much that it overpowers the dress) and flowers, it would be a-ma-zing - more so than the embellished options. In this case, less would have been more.
