Personally I enjoy a lot of content from countries where I don't speak the language and I prefer subtitles as it lets me hear the genuine emotion and personality in people's voices. And your mom is probably right about not being good for the eyes, but let's be honest a lot of us are probably spending too much time staring at screens either way lol.

Her story really hit home. I've been battling a terminal illness for 30 of my 37 year's. I have many scars from 10 major surgeries and probably 100 procedures/same day surgery. It has taken it's toll on my body and I struggle with thoughts of feeling like I looked deformed. I'm still holding out hope of meeting Mr. Right.

My fiancé had bone cancer as a child as well! He was in the hospital for 3 years straight with chemo, radiation, and surgeries. They removed part of the bone and put in a metal rod. They took muscle from his back to put into his leg! I can’t believe how strong anyone who goes through this is!!!! Much love to her!
