Holy Hell! Never been that much of a fan of DBZ. I watched it, as an Anime, back in the day. And it was entertaining... but I never went beyond that. I never bothered to think much about back stories and stuff. Nor did I really have much of an emotional connection to the series. But this episode... knowing that Goku has a mother and father, who really did love him and miss him (especially mom), it just about killed me! I don’t think dragonball hell is the same as our concept of hell. It’s more like an eastern version of hell but friendlier. Eastern hell is more like afterlife, souls cycles through life and afterlife eternally until that soul is purified completely to become a god, then that soul will accent and joins other gods. Before that movie Bardock and Gine weren’t canon, neither was Broly. Because he forgot about them for years. It’s also possible he was reminded of them, which is why he decides to bring them back. Clearly, if no one was there to remind him he would have forgot about them forever

Except it's been stated multiple times a person can only be brought back if 1) the death is unnatural (meaning dying of natural causes cannot be reversed) and 2) the person died within a year. So unless we're retconning all of Dragonball again, then can we just call it done. We didn't even need super. It's such a pointless power ramp.
