@@knightkid1235 well, i mean a continuation would see a couple things different in the buu arc (1) : Gohan and the others train much harder, trying to surpass Cell's Peak strength. So, uh, Gohan is going to absolutely roll Buu given the chance most likely. (2) : Vegeta probably sees Gohan as a rival instead, as goku is out of the picture. (3) : Instead of Super Saiyan Three, I imagine Goku deciding to experiment more with Super Kaioken. (4) : Gohan gets (somehow) even more PTSD.

In this timeline, Majin Buu is a non-factor. Ultimate Gohan before the tournament plus he kept training over the 7 years. he solos Dabura and even if Babidi manages to get Buu resurrected, Ultimate Gohan would solo him easily. Vegeta should be SSJ2 without the Majin form to due to training with a motivated Gohan. Whis might resurrect Goku by Super anyway for the ritual, so everything is similar from there, just a much stronger Gohan and slightly stronger Vegeta. Gohan might get SSJB as well. All is well.

In terms of other arcs, Gohan would epically fight Frieza in Resurrection F and would eventually win, the Universe 6 tournament happens the same, especially with Goku Black & Zamasu, then in the Tournament Of Power, Gohan would stay longer and probably help Goku, Vegeta, & 17 fight Jiren

By your logic I don't think it is possible for Gohan to be Ultimate Gohan without the supreme Kai. So at best after those 7 years before the appearances of Babidi, Dabura and the Kai's he would be a SSJ3 but mastered it. And I bet Vegeta wouldn't that far off mastering the SSJ3 form. Knowing Vegeta he couldn't handle Goku surpassing him and leaving him behind so the son Gohan of Goku who is a half breed would make Vegeta feel more angry about that thought. So best believe Vegeta does everything to keep up or try to surpass Gohan.

Vegeta trying to end Cell like he did Nappa was funny. Also, throwing Cell upwards and using Final Flash from below was a nice show of Vegeta learning from the past: he could use full force directly on Cell instead of having to aim away to avoid destroying the planet. Love all the twists, especially with the ending! Haven't yet looked into if you continued this story or not, but if so, Majin Buu would have to immediately be born as Super Buu and absorb someone strong to even stand a chance with both SSJ3 Goku AND Ultimate Gohan around. Also, I had a feeling that Vegeta and Gohan would come in on Goku's end of the beam struggle, and thus I had to smile when I saw it happen!

truly shows how evil cell was. great story! i think goku knew exactly what he was doing with the cenzu: playing with vegeta's ego. After the cenzu, Cell was full of power and full of arrogance. after the cenzu he got slightly stronger and then he KNEW all of the fighters together couldnt do anything to him. And imagine you are a perfect being and the only source of fun is in front of you. Also, just like vegeta was interested in cell's full power, cell was also interested in gohan's full power especially with the goku's weird behavior. If the cenzu was a bad deal, cell wouldnt have created the minions, cell jrs, but would have killed gohan immediately. goku was sure of that hence why he took such a dumb risk. cell did get slightly tired after the fight and if he would have fought gohan, a character stronger than goku, he might have lost his patience and used full power early on.

Honestly, Cell was right about one thing. They were only able to beat him because they were working together to combine their power. It was only that he made the mistake of pushing the Kaioken to X4 without knowing the consequences that he got a major disadvantage.

It certainly feels more satisfying to have the Z fighters defeat a fusion of them via a 'fusion' attack. Don't get me wrong, I was 11 when I saw this and loved Gohan, but this story is definitely more narratively satisfying!

It would’ve been a lot worse than the way it played out. The whole arc is about Gohan growing. Goku literally doesn’t get bailed out for anything, he dies in the end of the arc.

I would say you've truly made this story into something better than it was the first time. I haven't felt emotional over a Dragon Ball episode/comic since I was a kid, and you've brought it back in this one what if comic. Thanks I like the extra scenes in this video. It gives the story a bit more to see than before and it was for the better (bad at wording). However, what I love about this story is that you gave a whole new showing of Goku. His raw emotion over the death of his own flesh and blood felt true and, honestly, a bit heartbreaking. Sure Goku has gotten mad before, mainly over his best friend Krillen dying a lot (once in the King Piccolo Saga, and the other one, I bet you already know). But to lose someone of this magnitude, it's going to hurt you like hell and will definitely haunt you for a long while. Especially if it was your own fault, which is in the case of Goku here. Tristan Scott also helped Goku give off that extra sense of raw emotion and guilt. But the voice acting doesn't only affect Goku. It has helped give new life into the other characters as well. If there was some criticism I were to give, it would kind of be the ending lol. At this point, the Dragon Balls make every consequence absolutely irrelevant as everything gets turned back to normal as it was before all of the shit started happening. But then again, how would Goku win all by himself against Super Perfect Cell? He's gotta have some help.
