While I do you like your video and I do agree with some of your points the problem is though even though the fans don’t realize it Dragon Ball does deal with hacks and in Dragon Ball they said the person with the highest power level can just straight up ignore any hacks that the opponent has we’ve seen this multiple times with Vegeta and Bobby’s magic and it hits time skip and SSGSS Kaio-Keni x10 heck in dragon Ball heroes a character with Goku‘s DNA was straight up put in a time stop only for him to break out of it because he raised his power

Goku kept being affected by Hit's timeskip and he also explained that if he hadn't been alerted about it before their fight, that he would have lost against Hit. Hit's ability also slowed down Jiren although Jiren was stronger than Hit. That being said. They don't have hax. They have abilities, like some RPG character~ hence the relevance on their power "level". Something would be considered hax if it disregards such conditions/"hax" the system. I despise fictional versus community as a whole for the following reasons: 1- They choose to do something as immature as fictional versus 2- They constantly do it fallaciously(as in flawed and illogical)~wrong. 3- They are being toxic and condescending even when they are the ones being terribly wrong.

What's interesting is that Toriyama introduced stuff like power levels/battle powers with scouters as a storytelling device to make things more dramatic.

And even got rid of them purposely because he wanted the reader to understand that power doesn’t matter you can still win if you’re opponent is vastly stronger than you but with technique as he tried showing with piccolo Goku and radits but even to this day people still don’t get it in fact, I think that’s why it was also added hit because he’s not a character that can power up in the traditional sense he only uses techniques that are meant for killing an assassination he even during the tournament of universes he didn’t increase in power he just advanced and focused his technique more to the point that he was able to completely freeze Goku in time

I'm into power scaling since 2020, from my experience, dragon ball power scalers are the same as comics scalers, they will argue on their mothers, that the character A is faster than the conception of space and time of whatever dimension number 1,024,451. Honestly, scaling is more fun without Comics scalers with their inconsistent scaling and some dragon ball power scalers who don't even read their own media. Great video, honestly. Not many ppl put good arguments against this problem.

The answer is as anticlimactic as the question. Why wouldn't you? Why would anyone even PS if they will do the same thing that is questioned with DB? Why the Death note wouldn't work on goku? Simple, he's an alien. Why Goku can win against Gojo? Because he can use Vice shout that can tear through space and dimensions (if anyone is superior to Super Buu) Why goku wins against Saitama? Simple, he adapts faster than Saitama. As you see that these things had evidence from sources that most DB PSs know by memory, just like any other scaling of other characters, put evidence. If you want a fair and i retesting match up, the. The answer is not putin character that everyone knows their scaling is one-sided. (Like killin vs Avatar Aang), but if you do want to do that for the sake of character interaction then you can't be upset (using this example) when people call you out that: "youre wrong bcs krillin if faster than light" because you set yourself for it.

this is litterally a perfect definition of why power scaling is important, let’s take gojo and sukuna for example, their fight wasn’t them randomly throwing out big attacks and repeatedly seeing who has the stronger attack there was strategy in how gojo made his domain smaller to resist the attacks, using mahoraga’s adaptation against mahoraga, using RCT to heal a cursed technique after domain instead of on person or black flashing to heal a cursed technique from domain and the list goes on, now if we take goku vs anyone from dragon ball z around his power level it isn’t a strategic battle whatsoever.Its litterally whose stronger, meanwhile if we put strategy back into it and put gojo against someone like sung jinwoo(manga) the battle depends on if sung jin woo is able to get passed infinity. In my opinion sung jinwoo has a ton of abilities like rulers hand(rulers hand is the ability where sung jinwoo can pick up anything with a hand made of mana) might be able to go through cursed energy though I don’t plan to make a power scaling between the 2 here so back to main topic, if we put goku against gojo it’s gojo fans saying”how would goku make it passed infinity “ vs “but goku can blow up planet.” you can probably see what I mean. Also in my opinion if SCP verse would explain the scarlet king more maybe it would be interesting for the scarlet king to go up against goku but I still don’t see anything special about dragon ball.Though I haven’t watched dragon ball z due to this opinion so if there is a time where goku acctually uses a strategy rather than just repeatedly pushing his limiter than I might change my mind

There are a lot of things wrong on this. The why Sukuna vs Gojo was impressive is because they have techniques that both can deal with, dismantle? Gojo uses reverse curse techniques. Sukuna regenerates? Gojo uses Black flashes, multiple Hollow purples? Sukuna tanks them, it's a back and forth between two people who can counter each other and survive their strongest moves. If you put Gojo vs Goku is one side because depending on the continuity Goku can surpass the infinity by raw speed or just a technique. The same if you put him against Saitama, Goku could adapt faster and they put evidence. That's the point. Why can't Goku win against the flash? Simple, the flash is just SPEED. The problem is not DBZ PS, is that people put broken verses against verses that aren't that equal to make a difficult discussion. People talk about DC vs DB Wich is one sided on DC's Favor but nobody talks about God of Highschool vs DB which is close. Ln Kars Vs Goku is close and only few talk about it. Buu arc DB vs Bleach is very close and the same thing happens.

Like this isn't really a Dragon Ball thing, it's just verses that are stronger than most others being compared to the weaker majority. You even showed Saber in this video who outside of the most absurd wanks could definitely destroy the Dragon Ball verse for the same fun killing reasons Dragon Ball has against most characters.

It is true that Goku kinda ruin power scaling and redefine it into who has bigger fist. But to sit out of normal Power scaling, I don't think it will work well. As long as I can tell there are only two types of power scalers. Goku beating everybody's ass or Goku getting beaten by some reasonable and unreasonable characters. So, I don't think results will be good though.

Well i think Dragon ball characters can easily stomp at least 90% of Anime verse because In Dragon ball Everything in Matter on Ki. If you have stronger than you opponent you can Overpowered or negates his/her abilities or Hax no Matter what kind of it like Realty manipulation or reality warping,Space-time manipulation,Magic,Matter Manipulation ect.. Also there is many character in Dragon ball possess that kind of Abilities but it doea not matter because Only Ki is important who has more ki then he is stronger in any way.

Tbh yeah Dragonball series should not be involved in power scaling. Its not fair for multiple reasons. And first oof dont use goku as the example hes a friendly sayian who dont take it serious. Use goku black whos trying to kill people or majin vegeta or baby vegeta they trying to kill not just having fun.

I know people are always divisive on Death Battle, however they mentioned this exact point in the first Superman vs Goku battles, only about superman. Once a character gets to a certain point in power within their writing, they really don’t belong in a death battle debate anymore (but it gets views so it’ll never stop). Goku is at the point where his story is simple, introduce new stronger enemy then have goku achieve new power up to beat that enemy. The entertainment comes from the spectacle of the fight and watching Gokus determination break that next level, which is great. But it means for a comparison debate it boils down to Goku beat so-and-so who beat so-and-so who could do X so he must be stronger… and it’s been the same argument since Namek, which now looks weak by comparison even though the power scaling is so abstract it’s meaningless.

It doesn’t matter if their not the strongest the entirety of dragon ball fights are “who is stronger” there is 0 debating who would win in a fight, what most people don’t understand is the difference between “who is stronger” and “who would win in a fight” the only reason saitama vs goku existed was because saitama never showed his actual strength until when he fought cosmic garou which is where people realized goku destroys saitama, sure people like rimuru can just remove him from existence, that would make it so Jojos bizarre adventure characters can win, let’s say light yagami wanted to kill goku and goku had no clue that light yagami existed, if light yagami peacefully wrote his name in the death note he can’t do shit, if goku and light yagami were place right in front of each other light is dead, tell me if you had the death note than could u kill someone like goku or saitama? light yagami is a completely normal person who just so happens to be able to kill anyone he wants, the reason he should be removed isn’t because he obliterates most people from existence, it’s because all he has is strength, no other abilities just strength, atleast saitama has that infinite potential crap that is acctually applicable to a fight and not just strength like goku.
