Tbf i dissagree with the " verse equalisation makes no sense " take . When we use verse equalisation we make it so a characters abilities and techniques would work as if they were on theyr own verse , NOT that theyr power systems themselves should now be equalised . Some techniques rely on your apponent , lets say , having chakra or , cursed energy . Instead of just brushing it off as " it wont work " we think of it in a nutral way , where bothe characters can use the full extent of theyr powers on each other , so when we play out the battle , we can give a more fair and logical coclusion . If one power system is superior to another than that will play a role in determening wich one of the characters is stronger ! If one powersystem can give you streangth to blow up planets , and another gives you streangth to blow up cities than the character who can use the superior powersystem is ganna have an atvantage . There is nothing wrong with that . Think of it as 2 fighters with different martial arts . One is using wrestling the other is using karate ! If karate is a less effective fighting style than that will play a role in the final result . Bothe make sense to be put up against eachother , and the differences in bothe "fighting styles " are taken in to account ! Without verse equalisation we would have scenarious where characters can not use any of theyr abilities at all against another character from a different verse making a hypothetical battle unfair , or a complete mess ! Of course verse equalisation can be confusing in some scenarious , but if you know how to do it correctly , or take into account different possibilities , you can choose what makes the most logical sense and gives us a fair hypothetical battle .

Actually with verse equalization sometimes it's the opposite. Without verse equalization one verse completely destroys the other because, idk, there's some rule in the magic that makes the characters unbeatable by any other means than the magic. I think sane people tend to clarify that they're comparing with and without verse equalization to see the two different scenarios, because it's fair.

Verse Equlization is more so to balance rules that are specific to the systems. For example many people would say oh Itachi can't use Genjutsu on anyone who isn't from Naruto because Genjutsu effects chakra flow or whatever. Well then you're taking away a major ability from the character so verse equalization says Itachi can use his genjutsu abilities despite that rule. Another example is like Stands from JoJo, only Stand users can see stands verse equalization would mean characters from other anime can also see Stands for the sake of the battle.

As a more reasonable powerscaler, I love to troll the braindead ones. Like to go around, looking for posts about "X character solos your favorite 'verse", and trying to bait them into debating a complete mismatch (Usually I use Battler Ushiromiya or Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo to guarantee mismatch). I do this because I used to be one of THAT kind of powerscaler as well. The "Goku beats everyone, Dragon Ball is the strongest 'verse in fiction" type. Until I learned about The Spectre from DC. It was such a mismatch I couldn't argue for Goku to win at all.

Verse equalization was always weird to me. I ended up in a discussion with my friends and said that naruto can beat Luffy easy. These dudes wanna say that luffy is immune to blunt force attacks. I said that spiritual energy can harm luffy so chakra can touch him and they said that i was using verse equalization and that chakra cant hurt anyone outside of naruto's verse and i swear i just walked away from the conversation. When it comes to scaling the goal isn't to use mathematics that youve never learned to find the speed or strength of something even though at times it does make powerscaling interesting, its not the goal. The goal when it comes to power scaling is too use the narrative and evidence from the source material in order to properly scale characters within the boundries of the verse..... For instance naruto's chakra was putting cracks and tears in the universe which cause momoshiki to come to naruto's universe and soon naruto's planet to drain the chakra from the source. If naruto's chakra is distorting the universe i would think that would put naruto in universal levels of power same as how goku clashing fists with beerus was tearing up the universe. Momoshiki was literally threating to destroy the solar system and people will use whitebeards devil fruit to say that luffy is planetary - 4 dimensional

Mate. Verse equalization has nothing to do with DC or AP. You’re thinking of “equal stats” battles maybe. Verse equalization has characters maintain the same stats and abilities but negates people trying to loophole away a characters skillset by saying something like “genjutsu only works on chakra and technically there’s no chakra in one piece NOMINALLY so there for it’s useless” so it pretty much keeps the characters from being handicapped, so that if they have to defend from something it is through a technique or logic rather than pure literal plot. That keeps the fight more interesting and realistic.

So there is a reason for verse equalization, some examples are Smoker and Asta So basically Asta wouldn't be able to do anything if it wasn't for verse equalization, because his anti magic doesn't usually cancel Chakra Then there is Smoker or really any logia from one piece, because if it wasn't for verse equalization then Smoker wouldn't be able to get hit by anyone in the Naruto universe which means he would be able to just solo the verse Hopefully this makes sense

At the risk of sounding stupid, That’s not what Verse equalization is. It has nothing to do with power To give an example. JJK vs Naruto, Domain expansion users need to lock on to their opponent’s cursed energy to use their sure hit effect. Naruto characters don’t have cursed energy for domains to lock on too. With verse equalization Chakra “becomes” cursed energy, which allows sorcerers to use domains on them. That doesn’t weaken the Ninja. It just allows the sorcerer to fully interact with them and thus fight at their full potential

@@dremerteam8733 It's pretty clear from the context of demon slayer that nichirin somehow prevents regeneration, even if it isn't said explicitly, some characters with exceptional regeneration essentially overpower this. As for Saitama, his power is to be the strongest hero, so if anything is remotely a threat he can essentially scale above it. If a character can be seen attacking, that character loses to Saitama. Also by the same token Saitama can outscale the durability of any arena you put him in.

You don't seem to understand what Verse Equalization actually is. Verse Equalization isn't something that makes the characters exactly equal or anything like that, because obviously theres characters that scale higher than others in other verses. Verse Equalization makes it so that one verses power system can interact with another. So like, a rasengan can clash with a Kamehameha and have it interact with eachother in some way or another, its so their power systems can interact, so we can actually discuss "who would win" instead of going through useless semantics about how the individual power systems work and sidestep the main topic. Also, technically the idea of "non-verse equalization" in a debate is dumb, cause not only would that make the question of "who would win" irrelevant cause they couldn't interact, but also the verses themselves prove different forms of energy can interact, as if it couldn't, then a physical punch shouldn't be able to interact with ki for example, because these are two different forms of energy being used.

The universe Richard is in doesn't want him to have a job so when he did get one, everything started breaking. Not because he was strong enough, but because he was never meant to have one. Even if Richard had a job before hand, he has to do work in order for universal destruction to happen. In a fight, Richard obviously wouldn't be doing his job. Thus he has almost feats that aren't situational.

in terms of the spiderman thing, its kinda true. nothing has been said about after images SPECIFICALLY but we have seen characters primarily normal humans PERCEIVE afterimages solely because spiderman is that fast. its much less a feat and more so verse biology, similarly to how DB humans(even sub PL5 humans) having massively better eyesight and hearing than most other verses due to seeing and comprehending shit they realistically shouldnt. spiderman doesnt “make” after images, his opponents are usually just massively below him scaling wise when he actually cares to do so, which then in turn makes him appear to leave after images. i cant exactly remember the actual comic issues, but theres a small few instances of thugs and villains only seeing spiderman as a blur/hitting what they thought was him, just for it not to be. kinda like the flash but to a less extent, he leaves a trail of color(his costume) and different thugs/villains perceive it differently. first one that comes to mind is specifically a thug outright taking the role of OUR perspective while having a fearful inner monologue about how scary spiderman his, as well as how he appears to be a blur, as said red and blue blur proceeds to take him out, out of frame. while he doesnt have a SKILL to CREATE afterimages, he does create them simply by being incredibly fast. like, hes a ftl/mftl character no matter what. shouldnt be that hard to accept tbh. note: when i say ftl/mtfl, im giving him superman treatment. his average and constant speeds are much lower, but his full capacity is very high and needs set conditions. just like superman, he cant simply fight and run/fly ect at lightspeeds, although he can in certain scenarios like boosting his movement in different ways. you could chalk it up to him having precog, but precog only matters if u have the physical attributes. its not as simple as “you only need to out speed the casting not the cast itself” cuz it doesnt work if the caster is also lightspeed, which peter has done on multiple occasions. lightspeed character throws lightspeed attack, gets dodged by like spider guy, spiderguy can perform at lightspeed levels. but obviously, spiderman can not and has never sustained such abilities without interference. going that fast has been shown to be more survival based than outright ability based, flight or fight if you will. and everytime he did, he was left out of commission and unable to fight(morlun, carnage, and venom being big pointers. morlun aside, we see peter on more than a single occasion mid/zero diff both carnage and venom due to his fight or flight response and technical spider totem plot armor. for carnage he was wiped out, for venom he walked away without an issue.) either way, lightspeed isnt even required to create a after image, so this only credits the claim more. But haki and chakra are spiritual which means naruto can hit logias...Naruto was pulling his own soul back and using chakra to stand on water as if the water is solid. Which wouldn't naruto be able to use chakra to hit a DF user if chakra is a spiritual energy used to interact with different elements, shinobi, and everything It doesn't take verse equalization unless logias were fr untouchable For Example: gaara controls sand with his chakra. If gaara is fighting crocodile who is a sand man, all gaara has to do is infuse his chakra into crocodile and now crocodile is controlled by gaara. GAME OVER... ​@phantxmblxze Chakara and Haki are similar in name only. How they actually function are completely different. Also, logias aren't "untouchable" (unless your name is Kizaru) they're just the embodiment of an element. So because you can touch most elements, you'd be able to touch most logias. But asides that, just being able to touch a logia user isn't all too useful, cause you need to actually be able to *hurt* a logia user. Cause logias can get blown up and still regenerate, cause they're an Element. So really, the only ways to have a chance against a logia is by having Armament Haki, a shit ton of water, the logia's elemental weakness, some form of battlefield removal(like what the ninjas used on the edo tensei), or some really broken hax that even logias are susceptible to.

That's incorrect, spiritual energy is best explained as that energy attacking the person physically through their souls physical shape. By knowing this we can also look at the other perks that comes from these different interpretations of spiritual energy. In naruto chakra can be used to control all the elements and it can be used to counteract it. Naruto is able to stand on water cause his spiritual energy is allowing him to stand on water or stick to walls or make clones that have their own will or make a spiraling ball of chakra that attacks the person from the inside out. While one piece has similar things in how they can use their haki but they're still limited to very basic things. Naruto characters had all the things and have been doing all the things that one piece characters are just now starting to do. Chakra trumps over haki and in turn trumps over the entirety of the one piece verse. Chakra is more versatile than haki and is more effective. Naruto characters can hit luffy with a chakra covered Fist which is super basic in naruto, and that Fist would hurt the logias because it's interacting with their spiritual and physical. Naruto characters can hit enel with a lighting attack and it would hurt because the Lighting that enel would be hit with isn't regular lightning. It would be chakra lightning which in one piece it would basically be haki and lighting together but multiplied. Chakra is 100% working on a logia and chakra is dominating haki ​@@OnlyLiarGameFan
