but when would he learn it? As a kid? Here is my idea. (and pls rate it) first of all, after goku meets kami he would start to train under him. He would comment on how he wish he could’ve known where krillin was, and gone to stop it. Kami comments that there is a planet in outer space called yardrat. He explains how they have special techniques, and they specifically have an ability where you can teleport to energy sources. He explains how he would be able to sense tambourine (or whoever killed krillin) and teleport to stop it. But how would they get to yardrat? well this is half plot armor, but goku could go in the room of spirit and time while kami moves the lookout to yardrat. I would even say that he might update it so it has more gravity, but maybe that’s way too far fetched. They could also use a spaceship but idk if spaceships were introduced then. There, he learns to instant transmission. I also think that he would want to learn healing or cloning but it depends what you think.
