@@NousagiCaptain Clearly not noticable enough for Toriyama. Man had to make SSJ Gohan's hair less spiky than normal just so his SSJ2 transformation could stand out for that one fight. And back then it wasn't even SSJ2 it was just an ascended SSJ. By the time it started being called SSJ2 it was already irrelevant which was why Tori forgot about it.

Easily the best episode of this show so far, not only did we get a sick top tier choreographed fight between Goku and Tamagami 3, but we also got more lore on Buu. Finding out that Marba was the one who created Majin Buu and not Bibidi, and now they’re creating a new Majin to control.

Dabura is canonically stated to be around Perfect Cell’s level, only reason why people think otherwise is because he was used as ‘’The Worf Effect’’ to showcase how strong Majin Buu was. If Tamagami 3 is stronger than Dabura, then he’s definitely stronger than Cell. Also Glorio bare minimum should be way stronger than Raditz who’s still a planet buster, so no Usopp and Zoro aren’t beating him. Jerry is right, the power difference between Dragon Ball and most anime verses is just too much. You’ll need an anime like Sailor Moon or Saint Seiya to compete with them.

Goku and most characters in DB can move massively faster than light. That speed also grants him practically god level situational awareness. From his perspective, the puzzle was as slow as he wanted it to be. Logic makes sense but it’s not consistent because of the plot.

Seeing a lot of comments saying “actually, super saiyan 2” and man, that just goes to show the value of the form. The only character with actual significant change in appearance is teen Gohan. Goku and Vegeta just fail the forms design wise. Not to mention the cinematography wasn’t gonna let most people realize Goku went SS2. He went SS2 as soon as he fired the beam. We were all witnessing the glory of the kamehameha. It took up all of the screen and besides the first episode, it’s first one we see. And it’s BLUE, the same color as the signature SS2 lightning, making it stand out that much less. It isn’t until after Goku’s final strike against the Tamagami that we can more properly see it. They glorified the standard SS1 transformation like 3 times by now with close ups and no clutter. Excellent cinematography and animation. Like he eyes turning green before his hair turns gold and his hair slowly turning from black to blonde, things like that.
