@@Umaisavlogs number of places to visit, expenses, in case we go by plane to any of these places, the expenses of car rents or public transport etc.

In that fashion , chitral is a bit less expensive. By air fare is almost the same from Islamabad to Skardu and to chitral . It will cost you around 9k one way to both the destinations. Tourist places to go are higher on skardu side and lesser in chitral comparitively . Car rental will be same on both places . 6000 per day without fuel for a jeep . Chitral is more accessible these day because skardu babusar top road is closed . Overall skardu is rated higher than chitral . But both have their own tourist attractions . Do try chitral . We can plan it together btw

Please don't share the wrong information for the people who come on their Corolla GLi or XLi or whatever ... the only good vehicle which can go till Golen Jungle even is 4X4 jeep or anything which is having 4X4 system, or motorcycles with good grip can go there as well. The place till you went is just the beginning of the valley. Ahead are the real wonders which can only be accessed on the jeeps or on good motorcycles. Road condition can be verified through Deputy Commissioner office Chitral due to the GLOF alerts in this particular area. Please, be very careful in choosing season to visit Golen valley. July and August can be good as the rainfall is reduced in Chitral area which will help in accessing these valleys easily, whereas it also depends upon the condition of GLOF and damages in the road.

This valley is really beautiful without any doubt, but it needs attention from the higher-ups/ authorities to promote positive tourism with safety measures. The only drawback in this part is GLOF which threatens the tourism and residents of the valley.

@@hassanakram1855 GLOF is Glacial Lake Outburst Flow. When Large glacier breaks and it floods down immensely. It creates devastation in the region which then is alerted by authorities to stop movement into these areas regarding tourism and daily routine activity for the villagers of the region.
