Thanks, Matt. I think it looks best tied with Aussie Possum and like the "Tassie pot scrubber" is a great fish taker. Regards from NZ.

Very Interesting fly. I really appreciate you taking the time to show how to make a fur hackle I haven't done one before, but going to give this one a try with American possum. This video will help very much. Thanks Matt!

That reminds me of some of Fran Better's hairy flies. I enjoy tying with fur and this looks like a good buggy nymph to try. Thanks.

Good morning Matt. ☕️time. That is definitely a buggy looking fly. Before you thinned it out I thought they should have called the fly the Phyllis Dillar because of that hairdo. I have some American possum just might have to give that a try. Have a great week Matt. Well another ☕️is in order. Looks like it’s going to be a beautiful day on the desert.

Matt I love the fly had a few when I first started totally forgot about them.. I might put a little less on that collar and preen that back when you wrap it may help with the unruliness in the end?

Buggiest of bugginess! Looks like a Casual Dress that got too close to a Tesla invention The only reference I found of this nymph was Possie "Bugger" Nymph, that pattern had a mallard or partridge feather collar and a head of dark aussie possum. Was the GBPN a simplified variant of a GB P "Bugger" N? I know Aussie Possum naturally come in various colors, American Opossum are grayish white. I have some patches labeled Aussie P, likely dyed rusty brown, for tying Betters Ausable Wulff. I have some American Opossum pieces, likely scraped off the road 🐁🐀 A long time ago one of our dogs had a close encounter 👽 with a ball of gray fur in our fenced backyard, in the middle of the day! I called her off and went to see an opossum playing "possum"! What a beautiful animal, with a set of scary choppers! It's fur had such depth of color, like looking into a storm cloud. Awesome fur for a bait fish pattern. I scooped it up in a snow shovel and released it by the creek. Another excellent video Matt, lots a learning moments throughout. I had fun. Thanks 👍

Nice fly Matt. I think I'll make mine out of squirrel tail I've got lots of it, maybe even come chicken feathers, it's not fur but the under feathers have lots of fuzzy stuff. A little late this week I'm getting closer to Lake Okeechobee and some bass fishing so I'm not always connected to the Internet. Keep the good stuff coming buddy.

Thank you for all of your wonderful videos!! I picked up the Stewart & Allen Bass and Panfish fly book that you've shown before. I know you've probably got an entire list of flies to tie already scheduled, but, if you have an opening in your plans I'd like to see you tie the Fuzzabou Shad. I have been having trouble figuring out how to tie the wool head. Thanks!

Interesting! As buggy as it is, I'm not even sure the extra weight and a split shot would get it down! I'll definitely be tying a couple, though. thanks, Matt!
