Gold Britannia VS Gold Mexican 50 Pesos! Which do you prefer?

Both are Nice 🪙.. my personal preference is the 50 pesos and mostly all Mexican coins(even silver). Most of the are between 37mm and 40mm. 50 pesos 90% gold 10% copper. 1947 is the restrike. Overall both 50 pesos and Brit are nice coins. I own a few Brits myself. Queen version is my preference..

22ct versus 24ct doesnt matter you buy them on the pure gold content anyway so if you had two 1oz gold coinds and one was 22ct and the other 24ct the 22ct would weigh more than an oz. That peso is 1.2oz of gold which is 37.5g yet it actually weighs 41.6g

Both are excellent coins! Great comparison, I enjoyed watching. For the Brit- I have no preference for the Queen or the King on the Obverse.

Yeah the King will be more rare because he is already old, but the Queen version is more icon because of her long reign! Thanks for watching!

As an investment only buy local coins due to capital gains tax ( selling tax) benefits . If its a collection buy what you like .

I do like the purity, design and security features that the Brittania provides however I would prefer the Mexican gold 50 pesos Centenario
