Gold Coast Canal Fishing / land based google maps.

Heading up to the big smoke on the gold coast to meet up with my good mate Dan From Dang fishing.

Dan was doing a google map challenge video and invited me to come hit a few spots so I packed my bag,couple of rods and some lures and hit the road!! Finding some new ground around bridges mostly we found a few fish.
Being in winter is always a tough time to fish but can be rewarded by some decent fishing smaller lures and slowing it down. Hope you lip ripperz enjoy this video as always like/share/subscribe/comment.

Mate when I saw my new combo in the water my heart broke. But luckily it didn't land in mud or sand I just soaked it overnight in water and regressed it should be fine! Thanks for watching mate 🎣

Thanks mate! Good little bit of fun! It was a damiki armor shad. Rigged on a 1/20th jighead 6ld leader. They are a little flick bait and when lightly weighted they dart around like a mini glidebait and the bream froth on it! Thanks for watching legend 🎣

Hello! Thank you for watching! It depends on the budget and what you want to fish for and how? If you are getting into lure fishing I recommend a 2000 -2500 size reel. ( I use Shimano as they come with a 10 year warranty) 10 pound braided line will be a good over all strength and a rod that is around the 2-5kg range 7 foot in length. The more you spend the better the gear you will get but hopefully this helps you get started 🎣❤️
