This is the ultimate Gold Coast fishing GPS list. These are the GPS marks I have been fishing off the Gold Coast for the past 20+ years. I know a lot of you have been waiting for a few of these marks and now was the time to share them all as I will not need them soon. I hope these marks help you in your fishing adventures.

Thanks so much mate for such generosity as always. I took the day off work yesterday and decided to try the 50s for the first time using marks you shared. 3 tuna trolling on the way there using a skirt you recommended, another while drifting using your float lining rig, two snapper using your paternoster rig with strips from one of the tuna, before something grabbed the same rig on the next drop and took off to NZ with me barely having time to grab the spool and save the line. I'm saying all this just as a huge thankyou for sharing all your knowledge through the videos which has helped people like me who started fishing only recently have a chance to have these types of experiences You're a legend.

Thank you very much for your fantastic comment, I set this channel up with the express purpose of helping out new and inexperienced fishermen learn how to be successful . Sounds like you had a great say on the water. I am wondering if I could use your comment for a little self promotion for my Chanel by sharing it on other social media platforms, it would be a help to me. Thanks again.

I have fished out the seaway most of my life and lost my marks, trying to get them back. Thanks for sharing. Seems like most fisherman are pretty salty these days. Good to see some friendly ones still exist.

Thks Shannon, really liking your tutorial content and found this video going back through your channel. For a new boatie like me this is a great start to sound out the Gold Coast areas. Ignore any of the negs. Even with GPS starter marks, still got to do the time to sound around for fish and work out when to fish. But knowing where structure is a great start.

Thanks Shannon, I’m just getting into fishing offshore with my first little 4.1m deep sided tinny, so really appreciate the marks you’ve shared that are not too far out as I’m starting from scratch, im heading out for the first time tomorrow hopefully, thinking towards the blocks you’ve marked just north of the seaway, any info on what works bait, rig wise? Cheers legend
@Aussie-Fishing
@Aussie-Fishing Жыл бұрын
Hi Mark, If you plan on chasing Jewies off the blocks use a running sinker rig with a size 8 ball sinker and 2 snelled 6/0 octopus hooks. You should catch plenty of livies (Yakkas) off the blocks for bait. I find the SE corner block the best for Jew just after dark. Good luck mate.
