Cheaper real estate, cheaper food, basic free health care. Better education. Honolulu doesn't even have a casino. As far as universities, the world's best universities are in America, with a few notable exceptions. And your point about guns: there are many areas in America where gun violence is extremely rare. Millions of people live in peace in this country, many of whom even leave their doors unlocked. Your point about Americans living their lives in fear is a silly, inaccurate one. Speaking of murders, I'll leave you with one fun fact: Melbourne has more murders per year than Honolulu. Enjoy your "superior" lifestyle.

***** that's what we got told as kids and my opinion at night be safe but in the morning and afternoon, you should be fine. Gold Coast will be a great place in 2019 when oz will have the commonwealth games in gld coast . New infrastructure and my home state will be even better with all the capital investment in the city and state. Gold Coast is a great city as it has all the major theme parks and the GBR down the road.

It wears off after a while! I’m in pacific pines 5 mins from wet’n’wild theme park but I have family in other parts of GC too. When you have to get up for work it’s just like every other city and the only real time is to enjoy is on your days off. I go north to Brisbane to visit more family or go south to Mudgeeraba to visit aunties, cousins etc. other than that it’s a pretty relaxed lifestyle ps: sorry for the late reply!! 😃

Anyone coming here should venture into the hills behind the gold coast. Its truly paradise. You need to hire a camper van and spend a few days driving through them. Mt warning just across the nsw border is truly magnificent

I was there 3 months ago for 2 weeks and I couldn't agree more about Gold Coast's beauty! Broadbeach, Surfers Paradise, Burleigh Heads and Coolangatta are just stunning places to go. I also went to O'Reilly's near the Mount Tambourine and the place was heavenly beautiful. Thank you for making a good video of the Gold Coast. I cannot wait to go there again someday!
