Gold Coast vs Byron Bay: How to Choose Your Australian Beach Town

Byron Bay looks really laid back. I visited Manly Beach and Bondi Beach and they were SO crowded. Nice transition from the lighthouse to the ant. We didn't venture to Gold Coast area. Maybe next time. Very nice video as usual. Thanks for sharing.

We just visited Manly Beach a couple days ago, surprisingly wasn't too crowded, but everyone told us to stay away from Bondi Beach because it's just a madhouse. Australia is a lot of fun but we're excited to jump over to NZ tomorrow and get some more adventurous videos going :)

@@BottomLineUpFront Now see.... I LOVED Bondi Beach. Not the beach itself.... but the cliff trails that went north. Awesome hiking and SO BEAUTIFUL!!! Oh excellent!!! I can't wait to see your NZ travels. I spent 2 weeks cruising From SYD to both islands and back to SYD. We did 7 stops there on Princess Cruise Line. My favorite stop was probably Akaroa. Spent the day at LeBons Bay on a private tour. AMAZING!!! Safe travels and can't wait to see more!!

You really missed the best part of the Goldie, you should have headed south and checked out Burleigh Heads, Currumbin and Coolangatta. Byron is awesome I agree but avoid it on weekends and school holidays as it can be a nightmare for traffic as everyone heads there for a day trips. Enjoy your trip in Oz guys. 👍🏻

Byron was WAY more crowded than we expected, and it's probably because like you said, people were heading there for a day trip. We'll add the places you mentioned to our list of future travel locations (we're down in Sydney at the moment, flying to NZ tomorrow)

Those are fossil sunglasses - when I find a pair of shades I like, I buy a bunch of them, so I have about 5 pair in brown and black :)
