Nicely done.. I have several,too. I still need Louis 18, and the original Bonaparte, and a lovely Finnish example. I also need the Napolean third with the wreath....( which we pronounce with a long e as in sea or indeed see...like reeeth).Thank you so much for the views. Most inspirational.

8:11 - I think it should be 1/3100 (that's how you will get 5.8 gms). 1/3200 calc gives 5.625gms. beautiful collection! can only imagine the premium added in aggregate! joy of collection all worth it and more, cheers!

The definition of the French franc (or Italian lira etc.) was 10/31 gram of 0.900 gold. Translated to pure gold that is 1 franc equals 9/31 gram.
