I love the variety of collecting 20franc coins. There are so many of them. I currently have 7 but mine starts with Napoleon Bonaparte. Your videos are a great resource for collectors like myself. It’s inspiring to see your collection all together and they provide a good insight into the different country and designs I hope to purchase next. Thanks for all your effort on making them. I hope at some point you will do an update? 😃

+bart Silver Yes! That´s what I like most about these coins. Hundred years old or more, and have been in regular circulation. Imagine what transactions these coins have been involved in :-). Thanks for watching!

Nicely done.. I have several,too. I still need Louis 18, and the original Bonaparte, and a lovely Finnish example. I also need the Napolean third with the wreath....( which we pronounce with a long e as in sea or indeed see...like reeeth).Thank you so much for the views. Most inspirational.
@AgAuBug8 жыл бұрын
+101platayoro Thanks for watching! And for the explanation :-). The Napoleon III with the wreath shouldn´t be hard to get. At least here I can get them for spot (allmost).

nice that you made new videos again since a long time. Your video "15 different 5,806 g Gold Coins" inspired me to make a "20 different 5,806 g Gold Coins" video as soon as i get 20. At the moment i am at 17 i think. I really like the LMU coinage :)
@AgAuBug8 жыл бұрын
+ollumpollum Yes, it´s been a while. Really! Nice to hear :-). Looking forward to your "20 different coins"video! It´s beginning to be expensive to get any more different coins... I like the LMU coins as well, and the only ones I buy. Thanks for watching!
@ollumpollum81288 жыл бұрын
+AgAuBug I think it will take a while, since like you said its getting really expensive and i dont like high premiums at all ;)

8:11 - I think it should be 1/3100 (that's how you will get 5.8 gms). 1/3200 calc gives 5.625gms. beautiful collection! can only imagine the premium added in aggregate! joy of collection all worth it and more, cheers!

The definition of the French franc (or Italian lira etc.) was 10/31 gram of 0.900 gold. Translated to pure gold that is 1 franc equals 9/31 gram.

+Golden Arms Yes, they are great! Sometimes they are the cheapest 5.806 g coin, then I buy it. Today the Italian Vittorio was cheaper, so I bought that :-).

The lmu was established in 1865 . Some of the coins which were shown in your video aren't from the lmu.
