Thanks Chris, love your channel on giving good advice on patch panel repairs on the old mopars. Also there is a lot of none rusty 68/69 chargers in Canadian waters, problems is they are stored away in garages and we don't drive them year around and not very often !

Super Rust and I wish I could get one for a reasonable price so I could do what you do patch er up and drive it. Love your coin saying, "I drive my junk" , I would love to have one of your rides. I dream just to have one of what you are washing and drive it like your gray charger. Great evening to you and keep it up Chris. I would be interested in a dart or duster stick car or anything like that I would even say a leaning tower power car I would be like a sixteen year old.

Up north where road salt corrodes, many Dusters, Demons, Darts and Valiants died when torsion bars broke thru the front frame. It was their weakness, a fatal flaw. The slant sixes and 318's they put in them would long outlive the frames and sheet metal.

My Grand Mom bought a 73 Duster brand new, it had one option, the Auto trans, no power anything , no radio. She put 250K on it and it was burning oil so she gave it to her mechanic and got a used car. She had it painted once and had the seats redone once. I really would like to find one I could fix up but here on the east coast where I live they have become one with the earth if they were sitting out in the weather.

I owned a '73 Gold Duster that was my pet car at the time. Really babied that car. One day my landlord asked what i was doing and I answered with the question - Doesn't everyone wax the inside of the trunk and complete engine bay? I sold it when it began to rust out. (Minnesota road salt) Also was costing me about $20.00 a week to keep it in perfect condition. $85.00 a week in 2021 money. Could not justify keeping it.

Ah, no - not another "pressure wash the interior video", LOL! Actually I was hoping that you would go around the factory trunk sticker, instead of spraying it, but it looks like most of it survived. Just like the car itself - it's in better shape than if you had found it in the Midwest Rust Belt. 👍
