What was the reasons for not having the lead up the shaft like the original coil?

We found that if you were to run the cable up the shaft for each change of coil it would be a more lengthy process, also our plug set up has a longer overmoulded back section and would be impossible to get around the elbow of the shaft. We feel that the opportunity to now have choice for the SDC coil types is of great benefit to the operator and decided against running the cable up the shaft so it is more user friendly.

Does this kit avoid the warranty?

HI Jordan. the fitment of our kit and coil does not void the warranty - only if you physically damage the detector it may but if you follow our instructions it is easy and safe. best of luck

What purpose has the cap and ball chain. It wasn’t used in the video. Thanks.

Hi Daryl, the cap and ball chain will be used when you wish to replace the standard coil back on the unit to bring it back to standard - we will be releasing the video on this soon.
