Gold is Gold , and although there wasn't a lot , there were some nice pieces in there , just a matter of finding the right spot in that dry creek . Ohh and that Harley going by was probably my Son who just bought a lumpy cam Harley Breakout with straight through pipes and it is Cop bait , lol . sorry bout the noise . Mr. Wizard, I like what you got there for a punch plate. I would rather see that plate run the full length of your BDR mat. That would keep the cobbles from dislodging any gold down lower. Another great vid.

Oh man, I wouldn't foul the water up in your pond, with a few adjustments adding rock sand and shore vegetation you could put some fish in there , they could eat the bugs down and be fun to watch grow. I love that AU but I like fish too. I had a pet minnow (refugee from the bait bucket but this thing got big and would eat out of my hand. Sorry it's your pond and I like watching you hunt that shiney but I guess I like both, thats a nice pike mount near the fridge of wonder! I used to love going up north MI,WI, and MN, too old now but really enjoy your show since I can't get out myself . But I remember the black sand and thought it could have some AU, I missed out. UR lucky Rigby hunts that out for you!

....there is a sticky clay that clings to freshly-mined purple quartz specimens...a local gov't geologist suggested we soak the stuff in water along with some Calgonite Water Softener overnight before washing it, as this would loosen the mollecular bonding between the clay particles...

I just recently found your channel. It's great! I really appreciate your videos. I'm not from Ohio, but I do most all of my prospecting in Southern Ohio or southeast Indiana. Find a lot of flour gold, just like you. Get the occasional picker. I've got sluice box just like yours. The fun is getting out and finding it. Not getting rich by any means. Glaciers did a really good job grinding up the gold and dispersing it all over Wisconsin. How far are you from Easton. Back in the 70s a company did some drilling and exploration for gold .I guess the result was Not enough gold to warrant any type of mining and recovery . Nice video jason
