They're so pretty 💙 My favorite would have to be corydoras pygmaeus. They're so tiny and adorable! It's really cool to see lot's of them schooling in a larger tank.

Woohoo, gorgeous little fish! My favorite cory (and fav fish overall) is albino corydoras. I know they're very common, but I love how active, outgoing, and derpy they are. Plus, their pink iridescence looks super striking on black substrate. 😍

Thanks for the spotlight! Really great feature, may have made up my mind on a bottom dweller for my new planted tank. I'm not sure if you have done one, but a feature on Rams or Butterfly cichlids would be awesome! Thanks for all you do for the hobby

Panda Corys are my favorite. They may not be uncommon or rare, but I love watching them. I have 5 at the moment and want to get 6 more. 4 weeks ago you could not help to trip over the little buggers, everyone had them. I wait 1 week and they have disappeared off the face of the earth in my area. Sooo, still waiting and looking.

A just got a few Cory cats that are very similar looking from my local privately owned pet store. I was told that they are known as green or electric green corys. They only had a few and said they probably weren't going get more. I got the two they had left. They're absolutely beautiful. Have you ever heard of this variety? Thank for all your awesome videos!

NO way, i wrote a comment recommending these when you asked about some fish for your new tank, have 8 myself in a community tank.... the really trippy thing is, i was watching those fish room tour videos on YT just last night ( you are in one ) and i thought to myself, why does no one seem to have them the other side of the Atlantic. Then bam..... i love em, so glad you got them, whether you read my comment or not. ( i said to get lekky blue rams too )

I really love these, and would love to have some. I have German blue & gold rams, an albino bristlenose pleco (baby) and a whiptail catfish in my 75 gallon. Do you think it'd be bad for me to add a small school of these?! I don't know if thay would interfere with each other since they are on the bottom. Although my pleco is usually all over the place and the catfish sleeps all day under the wood. Thanks Rachel!

I just ordered 4 of these. Pricey little lovelies...I already have 2 sterbai, 2 fairy, and 2 paleatus corys in my 55g denison barb and praecox rainbows tank. Its a little overstocked but I run 2 seachem tidal 110s and the water is always spot on. The way I've scaped it, if you step back 3 feet from the tank, it doesn't look overcrowded at all, buy by the numbers it's overstocked

I finally found a seller online who had some gold lasers in stock. I just ordered 4. In my 55g denison barb tank have 8, well this will make the 9th species of cory in that tank. With the 4 gold lasers, it will make 22 corys. Is that too much? Ive done a great job on the hardscape so its not crowded and there's tons of caves, plants, hiding spots ...corys have a bigger bioload than say my praecox rainbows, so i run 2 seachem tidal 110s with a lot of matrix in them. I use purigen and a uv sterilizer as well. So really my question is, is 22 corys too much? Ill actually have 10 species of corys because 6 are pygmies in my 15g white cloud/betta tank.

The common albino are my favorite Cory species in general, though I love them all, corydoras are just my favorite for aquariums at all. I have a sterbai with some sort of defect that I bought, he's about half the length he should be fully grown, so he looks like a Cory head with tiny find, and he's thriving in my tank with other ....atypical... Fish. There are some other corys in there and he spends his time with them and they're all happy. He may be my favorite that I personally have just because he's a special little guy! If never breed him (I guess it could actually be a her,) which is why he's not in with sterbais or other compatible species. But if he's happy, I'm happy. :)

Hello from Sweden! Great video, as always! I keep Killies (fundulopanchax gardneri nigerianus) 2 males to 5 females as of right now in a 120 liters (approx. 40gallon?) and it seems to be working really well. So you can understand why I was positively pleased with your video about nano fish in bigger tanks. They behave quite different and looks to be happier than in a smaller tank. They have spawned multiple times although I suspect my siamensis vacuum not only the algae if you know what I mean... So, yeah, it would be great if you would consider doing a spotlight on my type of killie, always looking forward to learn more. // Sandra

Gorgeous little Corys! Would you say it`s vital to keep them in a tank with sand as substrate? I have read mixed reviews on that, saying that fine gravel will do just as well, since they seem to be found hovering above and hoovering through both. Would love to add some to my community tank, and the only reason I haven`t purchased any so far has been that exact question. I dont want them to hurt their beautiful little bristles due to the gravel in my tank.

I think smooth substrate is important, but not necessarily sand. They do not bury their faces to eat, so its not critical that it be sand, but a smooth surface for sure

is this specie related to the aeneus ? I kept simular ones on 15 degrees for about 2 weeks, and they a were laying eggs (still very young fish) a month ago inn a seperate tank that was on 18 degrees. I'm not sure about the temperature, so I raised it to 22 degrees. I thougt the golden laser was selectively bred in captivity, originating from the aeneus, but i'm not sure. Has anyone furter information / about origine and experience keeping them in unheated tank (17 - 18 degrees) during the winter ?

I plan on selectively breeding my cherry shrimp by separation rather than culling. The most vivid shrimp stay in the same tank and the mutts get to diddle around in other tanks. I don't have any plans to euthanize animals that don't meet an appearance standard, that just sounds awful

Hello rachel. I live in the same area as you and I have a 20 inch Pleco that needs to be rehomed. Would you like to take him? If so please get back to me. Id hate to put him up for adoption but if you would like to take him that would be fantastic!
