You did a great job on this video, thank you. I've had the MBAir M1 base model for almost 3 months. My previous Mac was MBAir Intel i5 2020. The performance and battery life is exceptional and at least 2 or 3 times better than the Intel Mac. I look forward to seeing what the upcoming M1X or M2 Macs have to offer. Keep producing great videos!

The only difference between the displays in MBA and MBP in the maximum brightness. 400 and 500. Other than that, color accuracy is the same.

Is the 256GB would be effecient for the laptop for at least 2-3 years ? Would the small storage affect the laptop performance in any mean in the future ? Please share your feedback thank you Sir.

No, Storage does not affect the performance of a computer as long as there is a very small amount free. For example using 250Gb of the 256 space vs using 50Gb of the 256Gb of space would have no effect on performance. However, 8gb of RAM would/is likely dating. In short, Gb of storage is like your fuel tank in your car, whether its a quarter full or half full doesnt effect the performance of the car, as long as there is some room/fuel left in it, The RAM in this example is like your engine, directly determines the performance of the car. There is obviously much more parts to a laptop than this but for this, thats all you need to know. Get 16Gb if you can afford, Im surprised they still make laptops with 8gb. In saying that the laptop is so good elsewhere, (CPU, NPU and GPU) that 8Gb isnt the be all, end all, if your happy to have load times. Im buying one with 8gb tomorrow due to budget and then buying an external harddrive for storage. Hope that helps.

Wish this had a bells and whistles version with magsafe, a 120hz miniLED display and a 1080p webcam. I know the M2 Air meets 2/3 of this but it doesn't have the display and doesn't have the same color as this gold macbook. The gold has me under its spell. That said, the starlight and blue colors are and it's nice that the base Air coexists alongside the M2 Air to provide more options to buyers. With the M2 Air, the lower-end Pro has even less of a reason to exist than before. I'm guessing that Apple is trying to clear their inventory of excess touchbars before they ditch the 13 pro model entirely.

That said, order what you truly want. If the Gold is the one that draws you to it the most, don't worry what society thinks. And by society, I mean judgemental, insecure men since they'll be the only ones likely to take any issue with it.
