They obviously bought themselves a chump to get another "win" on her record. I've never heard of Kayla Harrison to be honest but I know I will hear no more!
@aratakasuga409516 күн бұрын
I mean, they are both part of the same championship and fought in the same weight class. If you aren't willing to fight anyone in your division than why sign up to fight in the championship? Is Courtney King supposed to only fight girls smaller than her? Is she supposed to not even attempt to fight people better than her? Is Kayla Harrison supposed to decline a fight just because a girl might be smaller or less skilled or less experienced?
@therandom8028 ай бұрын
That was barely even a sparring session for Harrison. Well fought…but where was the stoppage? I’m all for letting fighters go a bit, but c’mon Invicta!

Solid heart and effort given by both ladies but a complete and utter mismatch. I'd be curious what fight time weight was on these two as well.
@brfdchief8 ай бұрын
I have been a Kayla fan since I saw her back in PFL. Since there is no tale of the tape on this video, does anyone know the weights of these girls? It looks to me a TOTAL mismatch with Kayla having 20+ pounds on King. NOT fair! Come on, Invicta!!
@InvictaFightingChampionships8 ай бұрын
Kayla Harrison weighed in at 145.9 and Courtney King hit the scales at 145.2. This was Harrison's featherweight debut so she cut to 145 for the first time after fighting at 155 for 2 years.

I am confused about all the people talking about the fight being a mismatch and whatnot, but they are in the same championship/league right? If they fight at the same weight and they both agreed to the fight than it doesn't matter. She signed up for a fighting championship and obviously there will be skilled fighters. That is part of the sport. You can't just avoid fighting people better than you because they are bigger than you.

As long as King is intelligently defending herself, it doesn't matter how much blood there is. Generally, cuts below the eye don't hamper a fighter's ability---they can still see clearly and can fight.
