I have been to tunnel brook I recognize this from the past there's a road that goes down and does a hairpin turn to get Down to that spot I used to live in New Hampshire downstate Nashua used to go to the white mountains found a nugget in the wild ammonussic river. And used a sluice box so it's fun to find gold But I never did look for gold beard at the thatspot By the way the nugget that I found using a guy's sluice Box that was dredging by the white mountains in the aminosic was a penny. Week size. A 1/2 a gram? Then you said it's a miracle for the river

I'm learning a lot about how to gold pan just by watching you guys, its awesome. I live really close to the "Mother Lode" out here in California and been panning off and on for years, I only use a plastic pan no sucker or grates, looks like its time to upgrade for the season . A lot of the gold miners that came out here in 48, 49 for the Rush were from Main, New Hampshire, New England etc. I'm wondering if these gold skills were known before hand or brought back? Do you know if any of your family participated in the gold rush? No worries on answering that, Anyway sorry for the long comment, History's happening, Dig It. Just finished the video. We have a similar story about the Mandel boy who went missing. He was raised by a pack of wolves and was found as a young man. He's now an older man and judges talent shows on TV. Guess you can say he grew up to walk like a man. He still greets people with a snif of the rear while wearing a doctor's mask.

Where can you get a panning permit for white mountain forest can you get that online and mailed to you or do you have to go to a certain place?

You have to go to any US Forest Service ranger station.They do not mail them and you can't get them online. Campton, Lincoln, Conway or Gotham.
