We all have to fight.. leaving it to others is why Islamism was able to forcefully convert so many.. 2% percentage was Muslim and they ruled parts of Bharat for hundreds of years..Once is enough

Glad to see you don't filter out Hindu connection to Sikhs like most modern Sikhs do. Most I encounter openly mock hindu gods and goddesses and I find that very painful.

I don't think that any such resource is available and yea it's really unfortunate that we, Sikhs, have not ever tried to publish our own history. Instead I would just recommend you to go through Wikipedia for the knowledge. Thanks.

Super Powers Should have Taken Lessons From Gen Nalwa If any Ruler or Community which had effectively dealt with the areas of Taliban ( NWFP etc. ) it was the Sikhs under Shere-e- Punjab, Maharaja Ranjit Singh and his legendary General, Hari Singh Nalwa. The famous dialogue of Gabbar Singh in film" Sholay " " So Ja Bete Nahin To Gabbar Aa Jaye Ga "is originally about Gen. Hari Singh Nalwa. Such was the fear of Gen Nalwa that Afghan mothers warned their infants " Khufta Shu ( Sleep ) Aamad Baba Haria ( or else Baba Hari Singh comes ) ( It is , also, a matter of great pride for India that Gen Nalwa is great great grand father of mother of Abhinav Bindra- Winner of Olympics Gold Medal in Shooting ). --------- Our next Air Craft Carrier be named after the legendary Gen. Hari Singh Nalwa ) Gen. Hari Singh Nalwa would have done what others could not do in Afghanistan.
@Zangalwaal7 күн бұрын
He didn’t effectively deal with the NWFP. The areas which were invaded were a continual thorn in the side of the Sikhs and there were constant uprisings and resistance. Hari Singh Nalwa was also finally killed whilst battling the Afghans- so how did he or Maharaja Ranjit Singh manage what no one else has? Also the rumour (amongst others) that mothers would silence their children through fear of Gen. Hari Singh has not been substantiated by any history book except in the writings of Indian nationalists.
