The problem I have is the silver all time high lasted for just a little while driven by two guys trying unsuccessfully to corner the silver market. And now people hold that up as a legitimate "all time high" and now silver is 50% of that. I think that smacks of trickery, and people are better off not talking like that.

Semiconductors can be made with copper and aluminum too, not just silver. For those who've been paying attention, you'll know we have copper prices up and shortages forecasted, plus aluminum shortages. So, that could help silver too. Lots of other stuff it could benefit as well. Food for thought.

Gold and Crypto are very different things. Crypto people are mostly the same people who are into EVs, tech stocks, etc, so when the Tech stocks crash, so will the cryptos and when that nerd cash start flowing into gold, i'd be out there selling!

The dollar is down over 60% in 10 years. So, in order for gold to be a hedge it has to more than double. No one is calling for 2 or 300% gold. Therefore it’s not working any more. These people should talk to Michael Saylor. He will educate them.

The price is artificially suppressed from futures trading, this is pretty basic to anyone following precious metals. It's unsustainable as other prices increase, meaning it costs more to mine and refine the metals, and the metals are needed for industrial things - eventually the facade breaks and you're forced to allow it to correctly price. Bitcoin is great, but the whole "gold hasn't worked in 10 years" thing displays a fundamental misunderstanding of what's going on.
