Absolute Awesome Video and Interview.... Very Informative! Herschbach's tips and advice on finding Gold can actually be applied to all types of metal detecting! I wished I lived in a Gold bearing area... I would be out there all the time! Also.. I am hearing a lot of great things about the Axiom... I cant wait to try it out!

@@Garrett_metaldetectors I guess I waited a little long to let you know, lol! I think the machine is great! Super sensitive, but also stable in the high EMI areas that I hunted. Noise cancel works well, and I did do the trick that I do on my 6000 where every so often I just do back to back noise cancel. But I did not really have to do that like I do the 6000, the Axiom is more stable! Just experimenting really. Also, the machine handles hot ground well, and I did prefer leaving it in manual ground balance mode versus auto. The only thing missing was finding gold! We had a couple of areas that we had planned to go to, but at the last minute permissions changed, so we were forced to stay in the areas that we have hit over and again for many years now.

Where in az is ground ever hot? It’s so mild in Arizona compared to places like Oregon or California

@ sounds like you need to explore Az a bit more.

@ I’ve only detected around meadview and also kingman and oatman and havasu. Def no strong red soil like California or black solid basalt bedrock like Oregon. Gold monster won’t even work in parts of Oregon because the basalt is solid iron and causes a VLF to fizzle
