Today is the big day of taking out the Gold Sluice on it's maiden voyage. The day went quite well there was some good in the Red Deer River by Innisfail but not as much as other places. The homemade Gold sluice seemed to work ok except for one major flaw can anybody spot it in the video. Even with this flaw I did manage to recover some gold. I'd like to head back out to the Red Deer to Prospect for gold again one day but we will see.

Shxt you stopped when you got to the gold , Just a tip incase the fish and feathers cops come make sure you have a retaining wall to stop primary sediments from going into the river -If the water going back is darker than the river it needs a settling pond , Seems to be working good - guy come by said they were finding big color up stream means he wants your spot or he`d go up river .We`re gonna check out a giant hole in the earth this weekend from an ancient glacial wash north from the N Sask .

Your sluice box seems to work very well , The water output seems be quite a lot. MFBT at 09;30 am ,what can I say ,the breakfast of champions Lol. Fedal should make jeep videos !!!

Fedal could do ... ? :) ....A radio controlled Jeep .. a bigger electric so it can pull a load up and down the shore ... build a nice looking trailer for it sized to hold.. "just right" ... a soft side, six pack, Tupperware cooler ... That way... when someone needs a beer, he can deliver it up or down stream to them with his ...Radio controlled.. all terrain.. "Jeeperware" ... Emergency Beer Delivery Vehicle ..(EBDV) ... Without ever having to leave his chair !! ... Terry from Michigan...

Since the sluice trays are stacked ...upper/lower .... the water has to make a turn at the rear ...not all of it can ... spills out the back .... washes out the rear supports and the sluice gets out of level and loses effectiveness ??? ... Is that the flaw ??
