Well there is plenty of carcasses, road kill and cattle droppings to feed them.... And after, a nice drink perhaps from a human eyes, nose, mouth... You become oblivious to them after the first billion. Yes they are a nuisance to say the least. The worst for me is the midges in the swampy areas-they attach themselves to you lay eggs and the bites re inflame when scratched the bites get bigger, lasts for days, and itch all through the night whereby you want to use a wire brush on yourself, terrible things and why I carry anti histamines, white vinegar etc....then there's the other nasties I meet at night..... Still finding Gold makes it worthwhile. 👍

Wow sitting on the surface! Looks like you have a great mate companion sitting on ya shoulder :) I have my mate puppy dog Cassie she loves walking with me on a lead. Wish our pets could sniff out gold. Thinking about going up to Cue but the heat is making me think twice... But anyway keep getting that gold.. Oh yeah gold fever alright lol

Hi Christie....I have a new companion ,too a large German shepherd who will appear in next video. BUT he is a sook, does not really like the bush...nothing to sniff, too many flies bothering him( I worry about the baits anyhow). Does not like to stray too far from the swimming pool and his smackos.!! Too hot now....I check to see if a cool period coming and i will zip up for a week but when its 39,40,39....no thanks. How do you go at cue?

My dog loves being with me, I put a muzzle on her, I stay reasonably close to my van, she try's to get the muzzle of after about 30 Min to an hour, so we walk back to van to have breaks and move on etc. I'll be back out after summer hopefully there's still some gold left for me lol :) I live in Perth so it's a good long drive to just duck out.

Gooday Gazza. Thanks very much for taking the time to film your marvelous adventure. Sooo many good pieces of fun in such a short period. I do this for a living and love it but need a few other interests to pay the bills. To find the gold is a LOT of research and PERMISSIONS.I find more then most because I use techniques that find more gold. I am taking people out as a tag along the cost very reasonable. I know what you experienced because have been there myself. Do you own machine or hire? Have you ever found gold? Thx for interest anyway. Gaz
@EZGamingAllDay4 жыл бұрын
@@gazzasgold9266 Yeah if I had enough time before the holiday i would have applied for a 40e. Next time I recon ill get a 40e sorted before I head off with the family again. Yep I have my own machine but haven't found gold yet. The places I've looked have the old timers diggings and salt n pepper or the off coloured quartz but just no luck. I have only looked on pending areas so I'm guessing there wouldn't be much left. Also when your out looking for that first nugget in a new area do you do a grid search of an area or just have a general walk over the area to see if you can pick up something?
@gazzasgold92664 жыл бұрын
@@EZGamingAllDay I am a bit negative about 40e's since they quadrupled price last year, not justified. I know you are yet to find a piece but once on the gold then you swing a quarter of the speed, that's a must. Then you grid.. This is because you get "mineral shading" shape of nugs and other factors. The last freebie I will give is this....if you are in an area of known gold don't get lazy. Move old logs, motion around stumps, 20 years ago they were bushy trees and hard to poke a detector around. Most humans will detect an easy route, you have to be different. Stay away from so called known "patches" they are hammered and not worth the effort. The old timers give "THE BEST" indicators. Read gold and ghosts. Go get some. If not you can consider tagging with me. I am looking at one more trip this season but have people already booked. Cheers.

Nice Job the machine gpx 4500 or 5000 share the settings please
@gazzasgold92664 жыл бұрын
I use a GPX4500 for the bigger gold "mostly" with an 8 inch coil. Its my favourite coil . I have many others bigger including AI coils for the salt. I clean up with an SDC2300 for the really small stuff but my 4500 will pick up 0.1-0.2 gms easily. I know a bigger coil gives you more sweep but I am not in a hurry. I designed and built my own Audio enhancer. Clearer and more reliable then those on the market now.( WIll be selling these shortly to those interested). As for the settings, main ones are Search mode-General,TImings- Enhance, Ground balance usually- tracking but if ground not too noisy -Fixed. Coil- Mono.(Always do an auto tune in a new area).I quick ground balance on new soils or every half hour or so. Others.Special I use "sharp". Motion medium. Audio type normal. Rx gain as high as you possibly can go (why would'nt you!) adjusting the stabiliser to suit keeping unit overall quiet. Audio tone ,for me anyway, 46. Tracking speed medium. Response normal. Target volume 12....if I missed any let me know. Cheers Gaz.
