Ya sometimes I do just add smb straight to the gold solution but I find that by adding it to water first I get a better drop but that might be just all in my head lol

No you add ot to your waste solution and cab recover the copper from it at a later stage

Great video I've a question for you. Can this method be used to recover gold from the pins. I get a lot of gold plated stuff from hospitals and ex military equipment they're very very heavily plaited with gold. looking forward to your reply . And you got a new subscriber 👍.

Thanks for checking out and subscribing to my channel. The hcl and bleach won't really work on pins as there is too much base metal .you could put the pins into copper chloride to release the gold plating from the pins but this will take time.if you check out my lives @8pm irish time on Sunday I will talk about getting gold from pins

I got it from a company called www.homebrewwest.ie/ and there is also a company called APC pure that also sell it but they are in UK so may have import taxes

I find if there is only a small amount of gold it takes longer to drop and if u do a drop that has a few grams it drops quicker
