Fuck you Tony Beets knows what's hes doing and Parker going in on his second season. Tony is taking a big risk. When it comes to gold mining there are no gauntess. This was Tony's risk not Parker's. Parker is nothing but a little shit and feels entitled being knew to the klondike. Nobody else would give Parker this chance on a claim like this. Fortunately Parker worked his ass off and made a significant profit but when your in Tony's boots hes the one taking the chances. This is TV drama and because the fans like parker doesn't mean shit when your running a business. Parker has a smart mouth and one of these days hes going to get his face smashed in talking shit. I just hope I get to see it

@XRETNUHX Well both sides simply want profit, and if the law allowed it they would do so in nasty ways. But Tony has been pushing Parker to do better (Tony in an interview also said that is why he took Parker on, because he would be going places, and by constantly hindering Parker's progress he also make Parker more resilient and wanting to drive harder which will pay off during his career, as obstacles create experience). But of course Tony is an asshole and he knows it very well. But it was also Tony that, in the early days, allowed Parker to do well in the first place. Though in an asshole way :p

Grandpa laid the foundation with hard work from when Parker lost the diapers. Parker has greater work ethics than most young people have today. Most of them will whine to get out of fighting for what they want. If they used the same time to come up with excuses for not doing what they have to, just to do what it takes, most of them would win. The sad thing is, if they whine hard enough their parents will give them what they want. Creating monsters. Then their parents can always hope to sit with Dr Phil and whine.

@@SusseBo Okay listen I'm not gonna sit here and shit on Parkers work ethic because of course not the kid is obviously a hard worker with a good head on his shoulders and I respect the hell out of him. But don't pretend he's where he is because of his work ethic, they said it at the beginning of the video, he comes from a well known gold mining family, his Grandpa made a name for himself and since Parker carries that name it's giving him a lot of perks in this trade that most people who enter it don't have. You think his grandpa ran the whole mine in his 20s? Or Tony? Of course not they had to work their way up, but because of Parkers family and their claims of his work ethics much older miners like Tony are willing to give him a shot that they would not give to ANYONE else, and even then Tony is only giving him the leftovers. Again I'm not dismissing his work ethic because that's why he's able to run a mine as well as he does in the first place, but frankly if his last name wasn't Schnabel it wouldn't matter how hard of a worker he was because no one would let him run a mine until he got way more experience under his belt.

Hoffmans are idiots. They went to El Dorado, drove their 4 wheelers right to where they prospected, and looked over ground that thousands of people prospected. I’m glad it ended up working out in the long run. I’ve seen first hand crafty business owners looking to capitalize on young entrepreneurs hard work, and not in a good way. The use their excitement to their advantage, meaning said excitement typically blinds the youngster of the danger. When you don’t know any better and are excited simply for the experience, you don’t think of how much money you’ll actually net. Can go very bad. Edit: Nevermind. He did take full advantage of his lack of experience. More gold, higher royalties? He’s robbing him later on. Asking for 100 ounces up front after the contract was signed, this guy is a piece of shit.

Tony comes across as a hard ass, but if what we've seen on t.v. is the truth, I'd much rather work with Tony than Parker. How many times have we seen Parker get in an argument with somebody working for him, then think how many times have you seen Tony jump somebody's ass for no reason? Tony is a businessman, and his ENTIRE family still works with him, what does that tell you? He's gruff but I see nothing but a guy who works very hard, loves his family, they all love him, and he's a very honest man. Parker is honest too, but he was born on third base and thinks he hit a home run. There's nothing wrong with being born on third base but that doesn't mean you walk around with a chip on your shoulder. The royalties he bitches about HE AGREED TO in the contract, and they make complete sense. What kind of person agrees to a contract, then complains about the terms of the contract when they go into effect? I haven't seen Tony do anything wrong yet. To me he seems like the most generous person up there.

With respect.... Every "good" parent. Sorry to nit pick but some parents are bad and even evil. As the child of evil parents, I often feel my heart sink a little when someone makes some statement about how *all mothers will do anything to help thier kids*. Because that leaves people like me invisible and hurt a little more because of that. Again, sorry to nit pick. I just wanted to be seen a little in one of these comments about "all parents"..... 🙏
