I plan to retire at 62 in another country outside the US that is free, safe and very cheap with a high quality of life. I could fully just rely on only my SS if I wanted to when that times arrives but l'll also have at least one pension, a 403 (b) and a very prolific Investment account with my Stephanie Janis Stiefel my FA. Retiring comfortably in the US these days is almost impossible.

That's awesome. A suggestion for you if I may. Stay away from fractional gold. Premium is way too high, when you go to sell them you won't get that back. Save up for an ounce or a half ounces. Keep stacking buddy!

I did it incrementally and it took me six months to get to the one-month-ahead holdover level without skipping a month of buying -- but that holdover has freed me from FOMO forever and It may just work for you too.

I flipped the little gold I had, roughly 1 and a half oz, for silver. In short, yes, central banks around the world have been stockpiling tons of gold, granted, but then again I see there's more potential growth for silver.

I just don't see people feeling good about the economy any time soon, especially with a Harris win, and with these interest rates adjustments I think it's just gonna go up or flatten out at worse. Gold still correlates somewhat to the broad market and is sensitive to downturns when market crashes happen. Historically, we should get a big haircut on prices when the recession kicks in. Something like 25 days of rallying after rate cuts then 13 months of bear market is typical. Thats when you want to buy more. Long term, gold is an excellent hedge against inflation but short term is still choppy

I took a gamble based on the outcome of President Obama’s re-election. I submit that a 35. Silver price is way too conservative. With all of the volatile events coming to pass in these last 3 months of the year, silver will be over 50 per oz. as 2025 comes in.

I was doing the same thing until a week ago. It may roll back to below $2500 before the end of the year, but I'm kicking myself for not buying at least 2 oz since May/June.

@@MatlasX Don't sweat not buying. I know it seems like we're missing out, but gold always peeks and then comes back down some. When and how much, nobody knows. I just know I'm willing to take a chance and sit tight and see if we don't get gold back in the 2500's or even less. If we don't, then I'd rather buy silver at today's prices because there's better value at the moment in silver than gold at the current GSR
