Not too long ago when I first transitioned to PC, I ran into low coppers and we were playing garage on Consulate and this guy in a open mic rants about me punching holes for lines of sight and rotates, because in his view we as defenders were supposed to make it "harder" and not easier for the attackers to push, he thought I was exposing ourselves. Total Bruh moment.

Most Brazilians are toxic and call you names when you're playing 1 or 2 rounds badly and can't hit your stride until a bit later on into the match, that's why I've opted for US based servers, the random conversations are rather entertaining to say the least.

i did that setup from the gold 2 on clubhouse and i didn't put the headholes on the red wall, that's the only thing i didn't do, i was also mute so there was that difference so perhaps after the setup i was thinking i needed my utility down.

Hello, I hope that you don't mind if I answer. It is good when you don't need to think for the entire pick phase to decide who you'll play, but at the same time, it's very helpful to the team if you can play multiple operators decently and you're flexible.

Unless it’s one of those must pick ops I don’t think so imo, if you want to get there best out of ops they should be played according to what missing within your team

I used to have main however learning every operator is really useful and allows you to change up the game and make it more enjoyable

It's fine to main an op, but you gotta have a few flex picks. I generally main Aruni, but I also play Wamai, Kaid, Mute and Oryx, depending on what my team needs

For some background I was gold 2 at the time, I just swapped from console and this is only my second ranked season, but I watcha bunch of pro league and try to base my setup on that

Similar story here , swapped from console pretty much just been soloq. I’ve only made it to plat 2 after 2 seasons but I think I can go further with a proper stack

It's not best to copy pro league setups since they have their own strats that only work for their playstyle so yeah

@@Kitten2822 i suggest u watch high rank gameplay rather then pro league.. lots of the strats used in ranked are used for a reason, because they are easy to learn and randoms should be able to adjust and play off the strat properly, where as pro league strats u all kind of need to know whats going on since most of the pro league strats extend heavily and make it awkward. coming from a 6k hour champion player btw

but u can.. if they cant set up every site well then i wouldnt call them good, like oregon imo doesnt reflect how good your site setups are because all the holes are pretty default that even in low gold u see them, where as consulate or chalet is a bit more of a higher rank setup

Good point! It’s a double edged sword, it won’t create better setups tho.

@@AthienoR6 yh it won't but I think making the main rotates is already good for bronze as people may get confused with where to position themselves with all the holes, it can also mess up teammates in solo que who don't understand the holes to play off them, and I know from experience as a gold-plat that sets up site like a plat-diamond. But it is a good learning experience to try to understand them.

lol did u actually give plat 1 smoke lower rating than gold one????? gold one did pretty good default setup on cctv/cash but other than his 2 kills on red i would say he played too aggresive for smoke. He was hunting kills on 1st floor...peeking cctv window and at the end he cost his team the round because he left red stairs and got killed by Zofia or whoever was it. Naaah he can have good aim but i am smoke main and if i did this in my gold lobby i would get tk next round xD Plat 1 actually didnt do anything wrong by me...he made good holes...there is nothing wrong with little aggression. Maybe he used his smoke little bit early but thats it. Also if u still know how to win the round that counts as well.

it wasnt a little aggression, this guy was wide swinging bunker at the very start of the round for no reason, he wasted util and didnt get anything out of it, also lost control of elbow because of this and almost lost the round. the gold got 2 picks early and then pushed up to try and get a 3rd because they had control and it was fine to do that, peeking cc was a bit odd but its generally close range so smg 11 would thrive and he should be able to win that fight either way, also takes off a lot of pressure, the biggest thing that the gold made a mistake on imo was running around cc window and through garage so much, he also couldve chilled top red a bit more but it def wasnt his fault they got put in a bad situation. plat made default holes as well, and placed the shield kind of awkwardly. also used his smoke canister VERY early on for no reason, it wouldnt have denied anything and he knew there was no one on the barrel. no offence but ur gold for a reason if u think that the plat wasnt awful. coming from a 6k hour champ player btw, you can search my account if u want ( De1ty. )

@@purpleguy3924 exactly, i would of thought the gold was higher ranked then i was, and i am somehow plat 3 rn(for context i use to be bronze and took a long ass break and my only improvement in that time is moral, if anything everything else has gone down including my mechanics because i actually used my thumb mouse buttons for leaning for a while then switched to Q E leaning when i asked the siege academy subreddit if that was messing up my aim, i was already having a tough time with callouts and stuff too.) i had a duo and hes been hit or miss but i feel lucky to be in plat really.) that gold should be higher ranked, i would trade plat and switch places with him if i could cause ive got a long way to go comparatively.
