Yep. Sunni loves to put down the British monarchy how could they be racist when King George III married a "negress." Black people at that time were in high society. So whose racist now.? Love Bridgerton and love Queen Charlotte and Lady Danbury. Costumes are way more stunning than anything at the Met Gala. These ladies on these panel need to understand tradition more. I am English and even I wouldn’t deny that that the royal family probably have racists in it. I don’t think Americans are truly aware of how elitist this country is because of how old and classist it is. A lot of Americans romanticise British history but if you had to have a second house of unelected representatives simply because they’re lords with peerages or a single school (Eton) that produced 20 out of 56 of Britains prime ministers you wouldn’t like it. We have royal family members going to former colonies waving at little black kids behind fences and Queen Elizabeth’s cousin wearing a blackamoor jewellery (eroticised depictions of slaves that look like golly wogs) at an event with Meghan Markle. I’m saying this to all mean that these people don’t rlly like or associate with middle class white people let alone people of colour. I like Bridgerton but let’s not conflate it with history it’s a fantasy series.

I read the Bridgerton books by Julia Quinn many years ago. I have to say that Benedict's story was my very favorite. I hope they stick closely to the script when it comes to his story. He actually was supposed to come right afterAnthony - because they go in alphabetical order - Anthony, Benedict, Colin, etc. . His story is a bit more complex and powerful. I'm looking forward to it!

One of my big obsessions Bridgerton, Violet and all of her brood. The queen most certainly and Lady Danbury for sure, the Featheringtons are such air heads, including Porsha with her ever scheming and plans to remain reverent in the ton is hilarious to me. I hate Rege Jean is not going to return in the future, I would love to see Simon and Daphne return with several of their children. Have been contemplating buying the book series to read, I usually do that before watching the movie or TV series. I LOVE THE BRIDGERTON SERIES! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
