Where I draw the line is with jeering a new young player being subbed off after 30 mins while still settling and adapting to a new league with a difference in pace and physicality. In a game where he wasn't actually much worse than anyone else in a red shirt. A few misplaced passes and breakdowns in play, sure, but I don't think we've reached a point with him where all patience has been exhausted. It just reflects poorly on the fanbase when that's how you treat your new players when it's actually more of a reflection on the entire squad than just one player. I don't think it's about being soft.
