Loki is such a fun character to watch on screen and then discuss in detail later. He’s very complex yet accessible and relatable. It’s not hard to feel compassion for him because we’ve all felt what he has felt…frustration, jealousy, uncertainty, pain, betrayal. And though some of his actions are deplorable, he is forgivable because we know some of his backstory and can afford him some mercy. I think the burden of his glorious purpose isn’t the purpose, but not knowing what his glorious purpose is. Or thinking that if he has a glorious purpose it somehow makes him better than everyone else. Deep down he doesn’t know who he is…is he good or bad? Is he a hero or a monster? On one hand he tries to take control of his situation while on the other hand he seems to play the victim card to an uncontrollable fate. He’s a walking contradiction and it makes for a fun ride for us, the audience. Can’t wait for the next season of Loki!

That was one of the best Tom Hiddleston interviews I’ve seen in years. The interviewer was smart and low-key, and Tom Hiddleston was the best I’ve seen him. He looked good and happy. After the Taylor Swift break up for years he look like a hot mess. Now that he is engaged to his fiancé, he looks relaxed, good, at peace, and loved! It’s amazing what the love of a good woman can do for someone. Lol. Congratulations to both of them and congratulations to the interviewer for doing such a great job! 🤩

⚠️WARNING: EXTREMELY LONG COMMENT! If you make it till the end thank you so much for your patience! I just wanted to share my love and feelings, for both the actor and the character he plays. For me: I can’t quite explain it but I have TONS of fictional crushes or loves, when it comes to fictional characters. However, Every. Single. Time. I ALWAYS find myself coming back to Tom’s Loki. As my main number 1 fictional love ❤️, there is just something about his character that will always draw me in. I think it has something to do with what Tom has said, about the character himself. In regards to him being able to: play all the notes, on the metaphoric piano. From the first moments I saw him in the first Thor movie, all the way till his last appearance in the MCU movies. (Still hate Thanos for what he did to him), Loki will always be apart of my life. I know this makes me sound like a crazed fan, but I just can’t help it! Loki means so much to me! 🥺😭 more than anyone knows, I’m just glad I have a bestie who understands my deep love for the character. As well, my man who knows how I feel about him, and won’t get jealous over a fictional character. Anyways, enough of me rambling and gushing over Tom’s Loki onto the actual comment itself. Sorry for the long beginning portion 😅, just needed to get it out. The passion Tom has for Loki is so wonderful and pure, this is why I say: Tom is Loki and Loki is Tom. Sure there are other versions of Loki, like Richard E Grant’s version Classic Loki. Which I like and same with the other variants, but it’s the OG the original that I will always love Tom Hiddleston’s Loki. And also this is why both Tom and his version of Loki is my comfort character and person, when I’m going through a hard time. When I hear Tom talk about Loki it makes me feel so proud and happy for him, the journey he took with the character over the course of the whole MCU. Is insane but amazing! I can’t see anyone else playing the original Loki, outside of Tom. I can’t express how much love I feel for the character, and how relatable he is to me. Some of the situations is different, with him but some the same too. I LOVE LOKI 💚🖤 and I LOVE TOM ❤️ forever and always! And I will defend him to my dying breath, yes I know for others: they see him as nothing more then a villain, a bad guy. To me his more then that more then a villain, or a anti hero. His a misunderstood soul like Tom has said, someone who tries to do good but, always seems as if it’s wrong in the eyes of the others in his universe. His complex: nature and personality, will always be something that intrigues me.

I agree and I really dont understand why this interviewer thinks that way. I absolutely loved Loki's character arc in the infinity saga and in the series they just completely took it away I loved episode 1 and some what episode 2 but the rest were just bad, like the writing was bad. The actors were amazing for what they wanted but it was just not good and the meaning and plot of the show was great and the way Tom describes it, it makes it sound like the best show in the world. I am not excited to see what they do with loki or sylvie but I hope that they change they direction they are going.

It's true that Loki and Sylvie had different experiences. Loki sees his own future, makes friends with Mobius, and meets all the other Lokis. Sylvie doesn't get to have those experiences, so she's really had no reason to rethink things. That's why people are very wrong when they say Loki became a "sidekick." Every episode revolves around his journey and arc.
