Golden Apple Cake

An actual apple cake covered in 24-karat gold. In this video this week I will show you how I carved this cake to make it look like an apple and also the cute little stem with the leaf. But also show you how I was able to bring out the golden color so that it looks like a true goal instead of some sort of yellowish color. But I think the effect comes out spectacularly.

I usually buy in person, whatever looks good. Not all gold dusts are the same… For example, I never use Wilton for this. My local cake shop sells small containers and they have no label, sorry
