@Angelica DUDE! 100% with Howie! Sorry, Mel, but I am a musician, voiceless performance and K-12 music education teacher for 22 years. I was a fan before this, but I am a SUPER fan now. This WAS her own spin on this song. It was the PERFECT AMOUNT of Angelic. Any more would have been too much. She has to balance maintaining the integrity of the original while truly infusing your talent, your personality and your achievements via hard work and experience. There really is no shortcut for these, but every unique voice has itts own combination of these components. Angelica Hale, you absolutely accomplished everything Mel said and much more! Not sure what Mel was listening to. You were beautiful as always but also sincere. This is the best version I’ve ever hear downloaded of this song. Period.

Forget about the expectation of being a golden buzzer star and focus on the current act- if you do that then each and every one of these acts is absolutely phenomenal

I thought it was a beautiful moment Darci had wanting to shed her childhood image and declare she just wants to be a musician. She didnt abandon her past and just get on stage an sing, she had a tasteful departure from her ventriloquism and I wish her all the best in anything she wants to do. She is a very talented woman, I wish the judges had seen how important that moment was for her and how brave it was to do..

Honestly her act was much, much better when it was simply her and the singing puppet. Simon and Mel B were right: all the glamour and glitz and props and everything else just took away from her actual talent and was, at best, a disappointment.

Can I just add why isn't there a winner for each Category. I have said this for years. If a singer and a dance act or a singer and a girl who does acrobatics with an arrow on fire are the last two I don't see how there can only be one winner. Also I have always believed that there should be a judge for each category meaning if there are magicians which there are always on the show any agt show across the world there should be a top magician that is from that country or continent as a judge. A singer an acrobatic person and so on and I believe there should be a winner from each category. Who thinks this should be how it should be?

Like for instance those amazing acrobatic acts they should have a person from top of the world like cirque du soleil and maybe some seasons have winners from Olympics to judge the act that they do themselves. It would be so amazing as they know what they are actually talking about and how hard it is to get to where they are
