She did kind of have a little bit of a sob story in that one of her present judges voted her off of a prior talent competition. But even he admitted that he was an idiot for telling her she only needed to change everything about herself to be successful. Then she came back without changing much of anything about herself and blew his mind, with herself and her talent.
