Just wanted to add a positive comment as a lot of the comments (one of mine included) is people pointing out all the mistakes and things you did wrong. So I wanted to highlight the good things as I know that three things take a lot of time and effort to put together. The production was top notch. The graphics were great and the sound was clear, so I could always hear each player clearly. The army intros at the beginning with the voiceover was a great addition too. Keep up the good work guys. 👍

Very much appreciate that! I realize we are still making mistakes with game play. Hard to be perfect at these games, especially when half focused on the production side. But it goes along way to keeping the motivation there to hear some positive feedback. So thank you!

Very nice report, good angles and sound quality. I think Sentinel could’ve been key to getting more work out of the Crossbows, but it’s hard to tell if the Swordsmen and Elephants were in range for it. Cool Merc list though, I might try something similar but with only one Elephant and maybe a unit of Zorses instead. Keep em coming!

I agree I forgot the sentinel until late game, although I think the swordsmen were out of range, I could have used it when he shot the elephant. It’s certainly not an optimal list but I really wanted to try an all golden company one for fun. If it was a non-objective scenario it might have worked a bit better but it was a fun game all the same!

Looks like you're using the old version of 'Field Control'. The new version is: "When an NCU claims the Manoeuvre Zone if that NCU was an enemy, after resolving that zone's effect, 1 friendly combat unit performs a 3" shift"

Great video keep 'em coming! -1:05:00 minor mistake, elephants can suffer up to 2 wounds max from panic tests. - Golden elephants are clumsy beasts indeed. I think it would be more fun (and accurate) if they get a significant boost in speed instead of a free maneuver. Even on an 8 movement they d only be as fast as the slowest cavarly (baratheon) but without the maneuverability. - I ll never stop saying that Golden Swordsmen need that iron resolve back ,both thematically and for balance. They went from overpowered to kinda trash.

Thanks for watching and commenting! Really appreciate the support! Good catch! True about the panic, I completely forgot about that by that point in the game. First time ever using them.. Bara cav are only 4” so 12 total. But I do agree that giving these guys more move or ‘something’ else to make the a bit better would mean we might actually see them played more. Or maybe leave them as is but reduce their points to 5 so you could actually combo them with a GC unit in a non-neutral army. Couldn’t agree more on swordsmen they finally made them “too” fun and then nerfed them right back to I won’t ever pick them outside of a thematic list.

Referring to the crossbows shooing at the outriders in the woods? The issue was (as we understood) that they couldn’t get range to the part of the tray that was visible outside of cover.

30:11 incorrect retreat (positioning): Screamer tray moves forward after the retreat move is completed. Why would it?

I have a rule question : when you put dahario naharis in a golden company unit : Does this unit still count as a gold company unit for the elephant rule? Or does dahario naharis "erase" the golden company aspect of the unit making it only strict stormcrow unit and therefore eligible target fort the tactics cards of dahario but forbid the unit to support the elephant? Or maybe the unit is considered both stormcrow and golden company ? Thanks for your help!

I could be wrong and hope others will chime in if so but my understanding is that the unit would have both affiliations. It’s not something that gets erased or replaced but rather added too.

Round 3, walder was not played correctly. It doesnt work like that. You need to replace the effect of a zone in order to use his once per game ability.

2:20 something weird happened… Targaryen commander’s unit always has Sundering… He probably meant to take Precision…

12:17 what the heck… Targaryen player is playing out of date cards. That version of Field Control was changed quite long ago. Card shown on the screen is right

36:23 ouch, such a bad tempo play from Targs, charging the enemy, while Swords were still open, with so few wounds remaining on Jorah… in this GM objective cards for commanders are one use only and only when they activate.
