The military does a color guard presentation to honor the fallen. This is no different. Folk are just not used to seeing something different at a funeral. You get to honor your loved one as they and you wish and it’s all good. Why does a funeral have to be sad and boring when a persons life is not sad and boring? Your funeral should be a memorial to honor your life.
