DeAuntre Alex the parable Jesus told about the rich man and Lazarus said the rich man lifted up his eyes in hell. Also the 14th chapter of Isaiah tells us that hell has enlarged itself. When people did not knowing the Lord there is not an intermediate place other than hell because Revelations tells us that death and hell will be cast in the lake of fire.

My saved father passed in 2011 and the snow storm prevented the musician from showing to the service. As soon as our family walked in and was seated, I noticed the quietness. I politely asked the usher if I could play for my dad's funeral as he was a lively man of God up until age 93. I've been playing old school on an organ since age 14. The saved family members shouted and praised God for the life he lived and that he was ready to meet his maker. Now I am almost 65, and I'm following in his instructions. All of us must get ready and stay ready. Amen

The Born Again believers have services like these because they are with the Lord Jesus Christ and the sting of death has no effect and they are having what is called a Home going Service. For those that know not the Lord it is a funeral. You still have time on the living side of the grave to choose the service you will have while you lie in state humanity. Read about Lazarus and the rich man Luke 16 vs 18-39
