My boyfriend/husband Richard was diagnosed with AIDS about 4 months after we had been together. He feared i would dump him like many lovers were doing in the 80’s during the AIDS crisis. I promised him we would stay together, thats what lovers do. He lost everything so he moved in with me and i took care of him for 7 years till he passed away one early Friday morning. To this day i still cherish every day i had with him, Richard R.I.P.

Lots of stories involve bad parents, parents who judge. There are many good mums and dads out there and it’s nice to recognise them too. A lovely moving story well told.

The empty seat on the blanket. Makes me think of so many that are no longer on this earth with me. Some because they are old like me, others to cancer or gun shots or drugs or HIV. So many that had so much left to share with the rest of us

During the Aids Crisis of the 80s, I tried several times to be there for friends but most of them were too afraid of getting close to someone as they knew what was in store for them. I am one of the few lucky ones that never got the disease, but the pain of losing so many friends and acquantances still hurt and I am pushing 70. Watching and hearing the horror stories of people abandoning those that were sick (alot were family members) still make me angry. Your Movie was a Breath of Fresh Air...seeing someone that cares and loves someone when they are needing them in their lives was Amazing. Thank You so very much.

Great short! Sometimes people forget how much of an inpact words can have. Why did he need to tell the story about how in the end it was horrible to have cancer...People can sometimes be so insensitive..without realizing how powerful and hurtful words can be. Thanks for sharing this movie. We can all learn from some things!

This was so good. It reminds me of the strength in every close friend I watched die in the 1980 and 90’s. Each one of them affected me in such deep ways. After all of these personal losses I am still alive and healthy. Why don’t I ever get sick. I tested positive for COVID for a month and never had a symptom except lethargy. I don’t understand. I watched this with tears for the hero’s in my life. They live forever inside me.

Very well done! Brilliant! Just a suggestion: there are many gay/ lesbian film festivals that you can submit this video to. I hope, if you do, you win many awards! While C is a b*tch, it can teach us some very important lessons and growth! When I was in my early 20’s, my mom was in palliative care. Since she was in a city that wasn’t her home, my siblings and I made sure that there was someone from the family there with her. I had the night shift, since I was in school. I remember watching her sleep, and it caused me to re evaluate my life, and how short life can be. I needed to be who I was, not who I was pretending to be. The whole experience changed me… and sent me on my journey to being happy! Thanks Mom …. Miss you Stay safe, stay sane, stay strong 🏳️🌈
