The title of the book with the yellow and white cover that is on the coffee table in the last scene (in Español) is J D Salinger’s “The Catcher in the Rye”…. The main character of the novel struggles as young man to be able to relate to other people. The two guys struggle to express how they feel toward each other. …until it is too late to do so, except for the “extra-ordinary”, “super-ordinary” communication. Powerful short film! How much love have we (I) lost out of fear and caution, worrying about what the other may think or feel. Oh my…

Just getting to see this short and I loved it. The story telling in this film is amazing and really well paced. While it is a heartbreaking story, there's beauty in the realization that love, no matter in what form, is a beautiful thing; that taking the scary leap of faith can lead to self acceptance. And to live in the now, to the fullest because tomorrow is never guaranteed. Very well done!

This was confusing as hell. The second I started to care about the characters it turned into a supernatural murder mystery. The chemistry is there, the acting is okay, the cinematography is stellar...but the writing lost me.
@penboyasgod61037 ай бұрын
I felt exactly the same thing. I understand dying and death, but I don't relish silly "supernatural" bs like the phone ringing and I also didn't like not seeing anyone at the scene of the "shooting" [besides the bf] --- who was doing it? And 3 shots? Was the last one a suicide? Horror isn't my genre unless it's done much better than something like this. I prefer much better written gay stories. Too bad, the 2 actors have potential with better writing.

@@penboyasgod6103Living free of superstition and faith based delusions is a prerequisite for intelligence in my opinion. From an early age, I rejected everything those around me believed unless science backed it up. The Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF) and The ACLU have my respect and support, always. However, when Atheists are dealing with deep grief a struggle can ensue. When my husband of thirty six years died my emotions were intense. I too found myself bargaining for a chance to have one last conversation. I wished aloud that I had suffered and died instead of him. Thoughts like those are triggered by overwhelming waves of grief which feel powerful enough to crush you. I’ve had six months, pharmaceuticals, regular counseling sessions, and while I’m grateful for every bit of that support, ultimately it is my innate rationality and strength which comforted me most. I wouldn’t criticize someone for behaving contrary to reason or logic during intense grief. Sympathy, empathy, compassion, and acceptance are admirable traits in a secular world. Wouldn’t you agree?

What a terribly sad film. It underlines why people should say 'I love you' to those that they do. Remember 'love' is natural and has no boundaries or human control. We all look for love, and when it comes it is magic, irrespective of gender. Hate and prohibition is taught.

@@gibby3198 Are you American? Probably. Because you didn't get my point. In your country, it is anything but "un-thinkable" to get shot at and die from. Since 1960 until today more people have died in your country from domestic shootings - all killed by "friendly fire" - than in all wars combined the US was ever involved in, since your Civil War, WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Yugoslavia, Iraq... so this is not a gay movie, it's an (anti-)NRA movie... - Peace.🕊
