As a kid, the "But we're heads" scene as I called it was my favorite scene of the entire 7 seasons. "My final words were thank you baby glug glug glug"- makes me fall on the floor with laughter. Betty's passing really stings, but watching her immense body of work she left behind for us has helped alot.

My cardiac pain was right between my shoulder blades. It was off and on for 2 yrs and docs couldn't figure it out. Until the 'big one'. I had to have a quad bypass at 44 yrs old. Just a psa for any woman who may be experiencing similar pain.

That decor was so 1980's! Trust me, I lived through that decade and some of the decor was atrocious! Then again, my mother collected hats, so that part isn't that weird to me but the choice of hats in the 80's themed decor on the GG set is horrendous too! At least the hats my mother collected were vintage and she kept them all in our basement 'recreation room'. They ranged from 19th century Victorian hats up to 1920's, 1930's and 1940's. I still have all of them. Betty White reminds me of my mother so much. My mother was a Minnesota farm girl, born and raised! Thanks for sharing these great episodes of GG and bringing back some golden memories!

I had no idea hats were a thing! The hats your mom collected sound lovely. My house was very wallpaper growing up. My poor father having to tear it down every few years for change. She was more into tins. Old timey tins and precious moments

Yes, the hats my mother collected were sometimes used for costume parties and she also lent a few out to our local theatre for a number of plays they did. I grew up in a very interesting place and time, I would say. I began collecting antiques and especially old 19th century bottles as a kid and now have a collection that is rather daunting and probably worth a good penny or two. Again, thanks for sharing these episodes and have a great day!
