If you get 40 minigunners (normal), that's more DPS, but, unless you're soloing fallen you'll never get 40 minigunners (realistically) and you still need other support towers

The reason I still think accel is still slightly better is because they removed minis lead detection. Also 8 max accels are now cheaper than 15 max golden mini. However for a hardcore tower accel should be better. It’s falling down the ranks and even though I think accel is better, it’s not by a big margin it’s actually really close since they lowered the cost of g mini placement . Guess accel is really the forgotten child of tds.

Nah Accel should not be better it’s actually doing decently in meta now and not just being the best also g mini should be better then Accel since it’s a bigger grind also ur arguement between the 2 is debatable one thing I will say is g mini and engi is the easiest dps to use as u got room for farm and 2 support towers of ur choice making it basically perfect combination because of g minis placement while being able to buff better then Accel g mini is also much more cost efficient as u can spam levels 3s while with Accel your basically forced to slowly max each one out

Elite how do you not know where to see the placement limit on a tower in the lobby like how do you not know how to check it. Just so you know you click on the tower in the inventory then you see the equip button look slightly up from it then you see the description look a bit more up from it and then you will see the cost to place on the left and the skins on the right look at the cost to palce and look slightly up and there is the placement limit. How could you miss that its so easy to see.

Gold Mini is comparatively better if you have it, although that doesn't mean accel/engineer/pursuit should be removed from your loadout for it. A turret is still *not* that good, because it has high DPS but only 3 can be placed down, so you're better off using any of the aforementioned towers. Ranger and Pursuit are OK.

It's better to have gold minigunner in duo,trio (and possibly quad) as the single DPS in your loadout. Since you need to place 15 of them you can't really go hard on other DPS towers. Gmini + supports is the way for quad and below you can still go the classic 2 DPS tower options though.

Gmini with cta buff has 333 DPS ($38k) Accel with cta buff has 376 DPS ($55k) Not only is gmini far more cost effective but you can place more of them. 9 cta buffed gmini = 8 cta buffed accels The only reason to pick accel is the +2 range which can be a pretty big deal in grouped modes

Id have to disagree. It's still a tower that is overshadowed by the paring of accel and engi in trios and quads, not to mention, engi is more cost effective and can be used from early game whilst golden minigunner can only be used from mid game. Also engi turrets are immune to stun and deal splash dmg which gmini also doesnt have. Even in duos its better to use engi and accel and use the loadout swap glitch for more dps per unit towers instead of using gmini. Only situation where gmini might be viable is for soloing hardcore and special modes which both have very little merits.

I feel like the facts in this video were very inaccurate. The dps for g mini is indeed 222, because of the rof bug. And the dps of accel is CERTAINTLY not 300 something, its 284 with the decimals that I can't remember off the top of my head. So technically, with over twice the placement limit of accel it is indeed stronger in everything except for squads now (but it still could be useful)
