I had a red and yellow together and I nearly ended with a dead one, they got on fine till the red one coloured. I had to separate them

Agreed, sort of. If it’s just males only, w/ *ZERO* females, (but can’t be just 2) as having 3 or more of any male species, whether poultry or most livestock, will make sure there is little to no aggression as not only are there no hens to fight over, but also a way to make sure 1 specific/ more timid male/rooster specimen doesn’t get the sh*t-end of the pecking order 24/7. Once again, *(3 or more & only males/ Zero females!)*

Depends on the bird...but housing two males together...who both want to dominate the harem WILL FIGHT TO THE DEATH... google images for reference Are you talking about ROOSTERS? domesticated CHICKENS? Or what I am talking about Pheasants. Ring Necked. Reeve's. Golden...even peacocks housed together will fight for control. I am not talking about chickens. But...google cock fighting. That's what male pheasants do to each other in enclosed spaces. They TEAR each other up.
