Phi, related to Golden ratio, as well as the number Pi, is a irrational number, meaning it has no exact expresion because its digits in the decimal part are infinite. Because of that, if You draw a line like in the animation, having a relation with Phi, no matter how much time passes, the line Will continue to eternity unable to reach its origin.
