The spot from gold sauger mission is good for farming xp, once you get mission with lure it tells you can switch to float/size 7 hook and minnow with 1m float depth,catch silver/gold sauger every cast at night

Hello mate. Have you ever noticed that an alternative cast is possible by pressing R1? I've never heard it mentioned in any vids. It results in a short sidearm cast of only approx 30 yds.. I found it by accident.

That lake trout spot is probably a good place to use a crankbait. On the deep lakes it cant dive enough but a 12m deep bit it will hit the bottom Edit: you dont have to wait for it to sink then, saving time

If your fishing for a night time fish in the day lower your depth to the bottom as the wont be feeding at the top it works for me ive caught countless fish in the day when they are night fish with this

go to the map screen and at the top one of the options is "rods" from there you can make sure your rod is fully equipped. than you can pull it up with the "y" button on x-box controller. also by numbers 1-5 on keyboard
