@@jacobwilkie241 idk I say the blame falls on Jordan Poole, not that he played terrible but when he took over for curry the offense just wasn’t flowing, they blew the entire lead that curry got em initially and once he came back in it was to late. But they were doing phenomenal going down the stretch but Horford just literally carried them to that dub. I wish we saw the bigger possessions and like the missed shots that lead to transitions and the baskets. Idk what the warriors coulda done better but I think maybe a 3-2 zone to stop the outside shots and just leave the inside to Igoudala and Dray and Porter and Wiggins and Looney they have the size for it
@LaxonPfc2 жыл бұрын
@@jacobwilkie241 Tatum missed enough for whole Celtics team 😂😂
@jacobwilkie2412 жыл бұрын
@@thesnipingspider3852 3-2 works but only if you have fast guys who can get from the inside to the outside extremely quickly on the back end of the zone. Dray can do that and maybe Iggy but Looney is too slow to close out on a corner shooter and I think Porter is as well. What I saw in the 3rd when they were playing that box and one defense I felt like really worked. The Warriors did it in spurts throughout the third with Wiggins or Klay on Tatum and then the other 4 on the floor in a box around the key. That box and one forced a few turnovers in the third and I think that's how they generated the lead in the 3rd. In the 4th, they just went back to man and help off. Credit to the Celtics hitting every single wide open 3 but it was all really because Warriors went away from what worked in the 3rd which was that box and one.

In many instances , especially afetr the 2nd quarter , they failed to guard anyone except jayson , yes they did have some giood blocks , but depended entirely on their offence that they forgot the fundamentals of basic man marking , this led to jayson having 13 assists . No.10 Sideline Ref needs to be checked. - 1:41 left in the 2nd Qtr to play - calls a dubious offensive foul on Curry. Not shown in the video either, but the possession before the timestamp 4:35. Same ref calls an offensive foul on Curry after he blew by Smart with 1:59 left in the 4th when Warriors were down 11 114-103. That made basket would put them within 10 with 2mins to play, which would give them a decent chance at levelling. That call basically ruined the rhythm of a late GSW comeback. Not shown in this video, but it was the possession before the timestamp 8:46. I wouldn't be surprised if he had some racks on Boston to grab this away W from Chase Center.

Klay & Poole need to show up next game. Defensively though, how can GSW let a 10pt lead go to be blow by 12pts in the last 4mins of the game

Warriors were playing better basketball halfway thru the 4th Quarter when Steph, Dray and Iggy playing together. The communication and passing were there. They have scored the last 2 possessions before Dray and Iggy were subbed and the Celtics pulled away. Breaks of the game...
